Looking for Denver hotels? Consider our bed and breakfast Denver suite! This space is on the classic third floor of a house built in 1889. Entrance is private from the ground floor. The bed is full sized and comfortably sleeps two. There is a claw foot bathtub with shower in the bathroom that is shared only occasionally when the front office is being used during daytime hours. Seating area with couch and roll-top desk. Kitchen includes sink, coffee pot, cube refrigerator and microwave. The floor is carpeted and walls freshly painted. Lots of light during the day. Air conditioner and fans in case of hot weather. Steam radiators in the winter.
Although our house is on a busy street, the house is quiet in a tree-lined, historic neighborhood. Our next door neighbor is a church across the alley. Parking is available on the street. The house is within easy walking distance of major bus lines. There is one of the best ice cream shops across the street as well as a friendly tavern serving great food, and dry cleaner just across 13th Avenue. Just a couple of blocks east is the Congress Park neighborhood where locals eat breakfast at Zorba's or Pete's Kitchen on Colfax and choose either fine dining, pizza or Chinese take-out at dinner time. But there is no lack of variety in restaurants in all directions. Cheesman Park and the Botanic Gardens are two blocks away. The State Capital and Downtown are just moments away via bicycle or cab. We are 21 blocks from the Art Museum, the Central Library and the Colorado History Museum. And of course there is easy access to the foothills and mountains. Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater is 20 minutes away. Ski areas are as close as 60 minutes from our house. Our bed and breakfast Denver suite has charm that many Denver hotels lack. Whether you are coming to town for business or pleasure, you will feel welcome at our home.
Private Main entrance.
Only enough to check in and occasional invites to dinner.
Great neighborhood, great for bikers and walkers.
1.2 miles from down town.
We are closer to town than expected.

Cynthia's place was great! Private entrance and whole top floor to yourself. Cute dog and very close to downtown/a bunch of bars and restaurants. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely come back when in Denver.
Thank you Cynthia! Your house is lovely and you were very welcoming and accommodating. I would definitely stay at you your home again :)
Cynthia's room on the top floor of her house was very comfortable and private. The number 10 bus gets to the downtown area in 15 mins and it is an ideal location for what I wanted to do. Unfortunately, I could not stay longer as I found a treasure trove of information in the Denver Public Library on the history of the American west - possibly I'll have to come back. It was cold in Denver as it came onto snow the first night of the stay but the radiators were on overdrive and I had to open the windows to cool the place down!
Cynthia is such a sweet host! I immediately felt at home in her place. The guest area is very cutesy and retro! I enjoyed my comfortable stay in this cozy location. Oh and I can't forget to mention the location, which is awesome and located right in central Denver. I highly recommend her place!
We had a fabulous time in Cynthia's Victorian mansion and can't wait to return! She is a lovely and warm person, and was helpful and present while still maintaining a sense of privacy. We had the third floor suite for two nights, which was cozy and warm without being too cluttered as 'cozy' places can sometimes feel. The bedroom is separated from a small, but equipped, kitchen and two separate sitting areas. There is even a third sitting area on the landing with a great collection of books. The bathroom is very clean, and the claw foot bathtub was exactly what I needed after hoofing it all over town for two days. To top it off, she has an amazingly sweet and friendly dog named Bud that just wanted us to hangout with him the whole time! Wish we had, he may have been our favorite part of the trip! I highly recommend this place, the combination of quality and value make it one to remember! Thanks, Cynthia!
Had a great time here. The house location is ideal--RIGHT downtown. The space is considerably more than I expected, pretty much the entire top level of the house, with a living room, bedroom, bath, and kitchen. Cynthia was super cool, as was her friend. We felt welcome and comfortable.
Cynthia and her house are amazing! Her hospitality is unmatched and her home and location is second to none. Stayed 2 days w/ Cynthia and could not have asked for a better place to stay. The puppy is always a great greeter on the porch. 5 out of 5!
Cynthia's guest apartment was even better than I expected. cozy, comfortable and quiet. it is private and very clean. i had one of my best nights of sleep here. I would highly recommend if ever in Denver.
Cynthia's house is wonderful. It is located in a great part of Denver, close to many museums, parks, restaurants, and venues. The room provides privacy and atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable, and it was nice to have access to a kitchen.
Cynthia is also a very nice person and I enjoyed talking to her and her friend. Would definitiely recommend her house as a place to stay while visiting Denver.
Cynthia's place is exactly as advertised: awesome. It was quiet, private, comfortable and cute. Unbeatable location for access to Denver's downtown neighborhoods. Having a fridge and microwave was so helpful, and the bed was great. My only regret is that we were so busy during our visit, I didn't get to meet Cynthia until I was leaving, and she seems like an awesome person.
Also, Bud the dog is awesome.
