Check In
Nice little M-I-L room in a home in Playa. It was a VERY brief stay, as we were in town for a very early morning event. We have a car, so it's perfect location. I failed to notice that the ad does not offer A/C, which I was hoping for ... that was my fault. Other than that, everything is great !

Annick was very welcoming and she gave us great tips for the area. Their house is very unique. Great stay!

I felt very safe here as a female traveller. Annicks home, is like a home away from home. Very peaceful - away from nosy streets. She makes a delicious breakfast!! Would recommend to anyone. Easy access transport to Tullum Akumal etc...

Annick's home was inviting, lovely, and relaxing. The room was amazing and we really love the Mayan theme of the place. Annick was very accommodating and cooked us a wonderful breakfast.

Amazing and unique place in a residential area 5min driving from 5a avenida, surrounded by great places for eating/shopping. The room looks exactly as pictured in the photos, and Annick made every effort for meeting our needs. The cozy breakfast served in the wonderful environment that she created, was a great start of every day. Beyond that, Annick was always plenty of great advices regarding beaches, places to visit, drink, eat etc. etc. Our trip was really made unforgettable also thanks to Annick and her place!

We stayed in a lovely little Mayan-themed room in Playa with Annick. It's about a 30 minute walk to 5th avenue, but taxis are cheap and can easily be found as you get closer to the main roads. The wifi isn't great inside (due to concrete walls) but works well outside. Annick also prepared us a nice breakfast and coffee in the morning, but she didn't supply us cups for our rooms. Nice place to stay overall though!

We had a great time at Annick's B&B. Looking at it from the street, you would never guess that such a unique place was hidden behind the front wooden gate -- so much so that we walked right by it a few times. It is located in a residential neighborhood. It's a bit far from any sights, but we had a car to get around. Parking was no problem on the street. Annick was easy to communicate with. The room was spacious and was decorated with Maya-themed objects and ornaments. The room did not have air conditioning, but had a large ceiling fan and a wall-mounted oscillating fan that kept us cool. The whole property is kept cool by the many trees. There was no door for the bathroom (only a semi-opaque curtain), which might be awkward for some people. The shower had warm water and opened into a little area with plants. No toilet paper was provided, which was a surprise. It was easy enough to go buy some, but it would have been nice to know this ahead of time. There was a small dining area in the room with a small refrigerator that worked well and a sink (which didn't work while we were there). Annick's breakfasts were a great way to start each day. She took my gluten intolerance into account. Everything was organic. The coffee was the best we had in Mexico.

Response from Annick:
Thanks so much it was a pleasure !! For the toilet paper, it was an oversight because I had anticipated your arrival before 03.00 pm. I went too fast to clean the room .. Really really sorry for that ...
