We were met at the train station by his friend.. and it was very smooth. We had the room and kitchen to ourselves so it suited us well. two other couples stayed in other rooms in the same place which was nice.
We've had a great stay at Luca's flat. It is perfectly connected to the center. The walkway along the river is very near. Luca is a perfect host, always concerned about the guest's well being. We appreciated it a lot since we had two minor incidents. All in all, another great experience with AirBnB!
After having paid for the room Luca informed us that unfortunately it was not available but that we could stay at his girlfriend's. We took this opportunity and were not dissapointed with the flat, which was beautifully decorated in ethnic style. The area, however, was a bit shady as the flat was just next to the train station, which was actually quite practical when it comes to transport.
We had unfortunately quite a serious issue with a key that didn't work. It was other guests or neighbours who had to let us in.
It would have been nice to meet Luca or Ines in person but I guess they were busy as it was a friend of theirs who waited for us in the flat.
All in all the stay was enjoyable, the flat was clean and despite the little hiccups we had a grand time.
Luca is a really nice person. He and his friends help you with everything and advised us some really nice restaurants and parts of Rome. Also he picked us up and walked us to the appartment the first time. The apartment has everything you need and has well equiped kitchen. It's all quite small, but cosy. The toilet and bathroom had some minor inconviniences but overall it was good. The only thing that was a bit weard was that you had to be quiet after 11pm because of the neighbours (no water use, no use of the elevator, no leaving through the front door etc), but that was oké for us. The location of the apartment is great!! A supermarked around the corner and all of Rome is available by foot. Thank you Luca & friends!
