Cozy, colorful, fully equip, private downstairs of house. Nestled in the most active neighborhood in Charleston. Enjoyable for 2-4 people on a quiet street right around the corner from Hester Park and a short walk to Hampton Park. Easy bike ride to King Street or a Riverdogs game.
Best neighborhood in Charleston. Beautiful backyard to drink your coffee and read the paper, bask in the sun or enjoy a lay in the hammock. Great neighborhood biking for fun or drinking and dining. Central to several parks with a comfortable homey feel. Ample parking on and off street. Available year round for a quick trip or an extended vacation. Easy access to the Mount Pleasant bridge. A scenic bike ride, walk or drive to the beach.
All access to the downstairs and backyard. I have quiet neighbor that lives upstairs in a separate unit.

Beautiful neighborhood surrounded by parks and colorful homes on the water. 2 blocks from the Ashley River.
Very close to downtown and in walking distance to restaurants and bars. Bus stop is down the street and a cab costs $5 anywhere on the peninsula.
Respect the property and contents, no smoking inside. It is a quiet /safe neighborhood day or night, I walk or ride all over the place.
Jen was very warm and welcoming, even meeting us after our plane got in at 1020 PM. The house is great, very comfortable and well decorated. We wound up walking into town most days, which took about 30-60 minutes depending on where you want to go. It's a lovely walk and highly recommended. Other than that, cabs were easy to call and very inexpensive. A great place to stay in Charleston!
Jen's home worked out well for us during our first trip to Charleston. She was very responsive and communicated well. Everything was easy.
My friend and I had an excellent stay in Jen's home. It was quite cozy and relaxing, plenty of space for two people and close to downtown. I would definitely stay here again.
Jen was very welcoming. She accommodated our arrival time and departure time. She left us a note with suggestions of restaurants in the area and cab numbers which was very helpful. She even left us a bottle of wine as part of the welcome and invited us to stop by a nearby bar for a drink. She was very prompt with all her communications. We were really happy with our stay. The place is just as pictured as well. I would definitely recommend it if you are thinking about this listing.
Jen was a wonderful host. The place was clean and well equipped. We stayed a whole week and felt very much at home. Also the beds are super comfy and the backyard is delightful.
Jen was friendly all the time and provided also local maps and informations what to do in Charleston. There were also a welcome gift waiting for us -thanks Jen. Home was close to a lot of landmarks reaching in a few minutes with our car. We had a abslutley great breakfast (French Toast) at Park Cafe Rotledge av- found via flyer sticking at Jens fridge. We slept very well and comfortable. It was clean and Jen shared all the equipment from their own home with us. Great stay for us and recommendable for future stays.

I live in Charleston but travel often. I have had the chance to live in this place for 3 years now and absolutely have fallen in love with the neighborhood. I enjoy all that Charleston has to offer whether it be paddle boarding at the beach, biking the bridge or going out for food and drinks in our ever popular downtown. I work in events so I am always out and about as well.
