Spacious yurt with two cozy beds, fresh linens, pillows, and a dedicated desk space with battery lighting. Perfect for friends or families seeking a rustic yet comfortable retreat. Each yurt has its own fire pit and access to a brand-new bathhouse with hot showers, toilets, and a kitchenette for light meal prep and charging. A portable tent heater will be available for rental in barn gift shop for $30 for colder seasonal weather. Experience glamping at it's finest!
The space
Outskirts 1812 sits on 29 historic acres once owned by Dr. Samuel Guthrie, pioneer of chloroform during the War of 1812. Guests enjoy a brand-new bathhouse, communal fire pit, walking trail, and the sights and sounds of goats, deer, and birds. Just seconds from Lake Ontario sunsets and the charming village of Sackets Harbor.
Guest access
Guests enjoy full privacy in their own yurt with a private fire pit and seating area. A shared bathhouse offers hot showers, toilets, and sinks, along with a small kitchenette for light meal prep and charging devices. The bathhouse and kitchen are communal spaces, shared respectfully with other visitors.

Please note we have a common area fire-pit with wood for purchase. Private fire pit at each site.
There is no heat in the yurts. You may bring an indoor propane camping heater for those cold brisk nights. Rechargeable desk lights are bright and have a port for charging phone.
We have a kitchenette with microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker and small convection oven. Coffee not included. Cups, bowls, plates available with other utensils .
Please keep the multi-use area clean.
Bathroom with full inside shower and outside showers as well. Please clean up after each use. Deer visit at night so enjoy your experience out in nature.
Wi-Fi is available at the main barn. Events, drinks, s’mores and snacks available for purchase in the main barn when open. Paint and sip on Wednesday evening, and wine goat yoga. Friday fun night starting Sept 12th and music bingo starting at 6PM in the main barn and 7pm live music with bounce house for kids and beer and wine bar for adults. Goat yoga and goat hiking at 1030 Saturday morning.
Please note the hiking trail is primitive and hike at own risk. Trail is marked but uneven terrain so bring good hiking shoes.
Lake Ontario is 1 mile from property with public dock access.
