My stay with Caroline was great! I stayed with her while I was finishing an assignment for work, and the dynamic worked out really well. Caroline works nights so there's no hassle from her while getting out of the apt in the morning. But she's still very much available via the ph…

Response from Caroline:
Thanks for your positive feedback Abyan, I really enjoyed meeting you and your very nice friends! Regarding the size issue. My listing states 6 guests as max. Before booking your group wrote and asked for 7. I wrote back and said, "My only concern is can 7 people fit in the bedroom?" I mentioned it would be tight. Your group chose to move forward with booking. When your group arrived, I strongly suggested unpacking to organize your belongings since you were a big group. I showed your group the closet, dressers, toiletries cabinet, and bookshelf provided exclusively for guests. Instead of using these, your group spread its suitcases and all possessions out all over the living room, used the dining table for makeup and toiletries, the floor for backpacks and suitcases, and every conceivable surface for your personal possessions without ever having unpacked into the furniture provided. I think this is the reason it was difficult for your group to organize itself and find it's possessions. It would have been much more efficient and easy to find things if unpacked into the guest furnitures provided. Other large parties who have done that had no problem organizing themselves. It's also much more pleasant environment in the living room when one can actually use the dining table and sofa. When all sofas, tables and chairs are covered with guest possessions, it's not possible to use the living room. So perhaps next time you travel in a large group, these suggestions for staying organized might be helpful? Again, I very much enjoyed meeting you and your extremely sweet group. Just a suggestion for travel protocol that might help you in the future!

Caroline's place was small yet accommodated a party of 7. Having to be mindful of noise is a bit hard when you're a group of young college-aged students. Caroline was inviting, helpful, friendly and gave us good advice and tips on how to get around. If you're in New York consider…

A very clean and nice place to stay in Brooklyn, public transportation and restaurants & shops are very close. The train runs across the street is a little loud, might be hard to sleep for a light sleeper or old people. Overall very nice and comfortable!
