About This Listing
I'm a tour guide - Reviews by past guests speak for themselves - A double room with ensuite set back in a very quiet apartment complex but conveniently located for easy access to the city centre. Breakfast is self service continental - cereal, toast, tea, coffee etc. 2 guests, 2 nights+ preferred.
24 hours shop across the road plus ample free parking.
Situated on a main road into Belfast, yet set back far enough to be very quiet, this modern, bright space offers all the comforts of home for your visit to Belfast. Public transport is very frequent and you can be in the centre of the city in just 15 minutes or less. A 24 hour shop across the road sells everything from fruit and vegetables to frozen ready meals and painkillers. The shop also includes a post office and a subway. You have full use the kitchen in the apartment. There is great wifi throughout the apartment and drivers have access to free parking just outside. The room is spacious and has an ensuite with shower. Dining, kitchen and living area are available for shared use. There are four pubs within 10 minute walking distance and lots of takeaway restaurants within easy reach. A shopping centre with cinema is also within easy walking distance or by public transport.
Guests have full access to the dining and kitchen area - plus their ensuite room of course.
Interaction with Guests
My favourite part of hosting is sharing a cup of tea or glass of wine with my recently arrived guests. I am at my apartment most evenings but often am working during the day.
My neighbourhood has everything you could want - pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Shops and takeaways plus fantastic public transport into town - just 15 mins away...
Some of the best public transport in the world. Train is a 10 minute walk and a range of buses and 'taxi-buses' pass every few minutes outside the apartment block.
Other Things to Note
Breakfast is on a self service basis from a range of complimentary cereals, porridge, bread for toast, tea, coffee etc. Guests are welcome to cook their own breakfast with their own food.
In my experience airbnb guests are ideal guests - all treat my home like their home... we all win!
Eimear does not need us to leave her a review because she has about a thousand already. But... i'm going to do one anyways because she was that fantastic. Knowledgeable about her city, Eimear made getting around Belfast and NI a snap. With her love of hiking and exploring we immediately found common ground to bond over, not to mention if you want a trail to hike shes your gal. The proximity of her flat to the city was close enough to walk (which took us about an hour to the city center) or take a bus (15 mins) and yet far enough away so as to not be in the hustle-bustle. Lovely bedroom with a great shower. Just an easy person to get along with with excited eyes and someone who genuinely cares about your stay. Magnificent.
We enjoyed staying with Eimear who was very friendly and helpful, it was a good location for us to get around to see the sights of Belfast. The room was comfortable and everything was available that we needed
We enjoyed our stay in Belfast, thanks to Eimear. Her knowledge about the city and its past was a bonus. We had interesting conversations and we loved chatting to her.
The room itself is very comfortable and the fact you can use kitchen, dining and seating area is very convenient.
Location is far from centre but bus stop is just in front of the house. You also can get a taxi bus which is great.
Merveilleux voyage à Belfast. L'appartement de Eimear est propre et chaleureux : j'ai eu l'impression de passer cinq jours chez des amis !
Eimear is the perfect host. I felt at home or at a friend's, and the room is as described and pictured. Wonderful trip.
Eimear was a great host. She was very friendly and helpful. Gave us many tips on what to do and see in Belfast. The room was more than adequate and it was great to have the ensuite bathroom. We had a very filling continental breakfast consisting of various cereals, bread, jams, butter, milk, tea and coffee. I would recommend Eimear's place to anyone!
Many Thanks for making our stay in Belfast very comfortable!
The room is very nice and is is just a short bus ride from the city centre. Due to her work, we met Eimear just once - but nevertheless everything was working out. It i a pity we couldn´t talk fo longer - we are sure it would have been very very interesting. We are looking forward to our next visit!
