About This Listing
I'm a tour guide - Reviews by past guests speak for themselves - A double room with ensuite set back in a very quiet apartment complex but conveniently located for easy access to the city centre. Breakfast is self service continental - cereal, toast, tea, coffee etc. 2 guests, 2 nights+ preferred.
24 hours shop across the road plus ample free parking.
Situated on a main road into Belfast, yet set back far enough to be very quiet, this modern, bright space offers all the comforts of home for your visit to Belfast. Public transport is very frequent and you can be in the centre of the city in just 15 minutes or less. A 24 hour shop across the road sells everything from fruit and vegetables to frozen ready meals and painkillers. The shop also includes a post office and a subway. You have full use the kitchen in the apartment. There is great wifi throughout the apartment and drivers have access to free parking just outside. The room is spacious and has an ensuite with shower. Dining, kitchen and living area are available for shared use. There are four pubs within 10 minute walking distance and lots of takeaway restaurants within easy reach. A shopping centre with cinema is also within easy walking distance or by public transport.
Guests have full access to the dining and kitchen area - plus their ensuite room of course.
Interaction with Guests
My favourite part of hosting is sharing a cup of tea or glass of wine with my recently arrived guests. I am at my apartment most evenings but often am working during the day.
My neighbourhood has everything you could want - pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Shops and takeaways plus fantastic public transport into town - just 15 mins away...
Some of the best public transport in the world. Train is a 10 minute walk and a range of buses and 'taxi-buses' pass every few minutes outside the apartment block.
Other Things to Note
Breakfast is on a self service basis from a range of complimentary cereals, porridge, bread for toast, tea, coffee etc. Guests are welcome to cook their own breakfast with their own food.
In my experience airbnb guests are ideal guests - all treat my home like their home... we all win!
Very comfortable and warm room, and quiet despite being on a busy road. Public transport excellent, especially the little taxi buses. Kitchen was well equipped, except for no microwave. Be careful turning off the gas stove as it doesn't work quite how you might think. Eimear was very friendly and helpful, with heaps of good advice about Belfast.
Eimear's was lovely. I specifically loved her kitchen. The apartment is connected to the city center via 10a. Google maps did not show this choice and I had to take a taxi.
We had a lovely stay at Eimear's place. The room and the ensuite were really nice and it let us have our own privacy.
Eimear is a very nice host too! We had a nice chat and some good advice of places to go to. Thank you for having us!
Eimear was very sweet and friendly! We unfortunately didn't get to spend too much time with her (our fault, booked last minute) but though she got home late she still stayed up and chatted with us and gave us tips as to where to go and what to see (she is a tour guide! would have loved to take one of her tours but was not compatible with our schedule). The place was clean even though we booked last minute. Would definitely go back and stay with her if ever returned to Belfast! :-)

Eimear was the perfect host. Being a tourist guide her knowledge of Belfast was most helpful. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed our interaction with Eimear. We would have no hesitation in staying with Eimear again.
About the Host, Eimear
Hi, I'm Eimear - I'm very well traveled but am Belfast born and bred. I lived in Dubai for 5 years. I've been to the US 9 times, I've ventured to India, Africa, Australia and many parts of Europe. I still have Scandinavia, South America, more of Asia including China plus Russia on my lifetime travel bucket list.... must get on with it!
I've worked in many areas of the hospitality industry and have recently launched a walking tour company which offers the best way to experience the world famous giants causeway coastline.
I love meeting travelers from around the world - I have a degree in Irish history and a passion for this vibrant city. I love being an airbnb host.
I enjoy cooking, reading (non-fiction) and photography - I LOVE the great outdoors - I walked the 500 mile Camino de Santiago in Spain in 2012.
I look forward to hosting you.
