La Quinta begins 3 minutes away: restaurants, mezcal bars, independent boutiques, the full Playa del Carmen evening. The Cozumel ferry is 4 minutes from the door — a full day on a world-class reef for the price of a ticket. The minibus stop is a 10-minute walk, and 20 minutes on from there sit dozens of freshwater cenotes at local prices, no operator taking a cut. Playa Fundadores is 4 minutes on foot when the mood strikes — daily cultural shows, volleyball courts, one of Centro's central beaches, and secondary to everything above. Supermarkets, pharmacies, ATMs and taco stands are all a short walk.
