Hello there, Antonio and I live in a villa with a very big (website hidden) the end of it, there is a red wooden cabin (50 sq.m.) with bathroom,a fridge and a microwave. The cabin is equipped with two double beds, and the possibility of adding a spare single bed if needed . The cabin opens its door on the back yard and has its own gate ( can be entered by car as well). We live with dogs, but, when we have guests, they do not have access to the back yard. Wi-fi included. We offer breakfast, but are also available for fixing lunch and dinner upon request. We also have four horses and a foal, and you can book a ride with Antonio if you like. We are a few minutes drive from the airport and five minutes drive from the beach, surrounded by fields. There is a bus stop nearby, but, besides providing shuttle service from and to the airport, we are happy to help our guests driving them to the beach or anything near. We do our best to please your expections and desires. If you have your own car, Rome and Ostia are very easily connected.
You can completely customize your stay at our place: you can have your own space and privacy and only see us when you need us, or you are welcome to share our daily activities and meals with us. We love to make new friends. We obviously welcome kids. We recommend not to bring a cat unless you are sure that you keep it inside the wooden house and not let it out in the yard ( for the cat's safety!)
Hope to see you soon!

Semplice buon senso e rispetto verso gli altri, se poi c'è anche la voglia di stare insieme e farsi due risate ancora meglio!
Lovely country neighborhood. Friendly host, very helpful. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. The lemoncello with dinner was a nice touch. We walked around the neighborhood to the necropolis. It was a beautiful and fascinating surprise. The rest of the neighborhood was also interesting to explore. The dogs and horses on the property are very friendly.
Camilla went out of her way to accommodate last minute changes in our travel plans. She met us with a warm smile at the airport and she and Antonio brought us directly back to our "home" for the night. They delivered a delicious, home-cooked meal to us, and made excellent arrangements for us to be picked up early the next morning by a friend with cab service to the train. Couldn't have asked for a better welcome to Italy. Wish we could have stayed longer...... I would highly recommend booking a stay with Camilla and Antonio.
I was really lucky to find Broken Wheel for the last night I spent in Italy! The location was perfect = closed to the airport, the room cosy, and Franca and the family just perfect hosts! I even got a ride to the airport for a small fee. Thank you:)
We were not able to meet Camilla because our flight was delayed by several hours into the night, and we left mid morning the next day. She left us keys and detailed instructions for accessing the cabin as soon as we let her know of the change which was a relief. It was a bit like a treasure hunt late at night in the dark, but we made it! :) The cabin is private and quaint just as pictured, and suited our needs perfectly. It is really close to the airport, and they provided transport back there in the morning (for a small fee) as there is no public transit in the area. Camilla's mom was charming, friendly, and very sweet to show us the horses and dogs before taking us to the airport. Minimal cooking facilities (micro wave, mini fridge & electric kettle are provided) but the large clean bathroom was a plus. It's a bit like up market camping in a residential country setting. Fun! Clean! Nice hosts! Would recommend...
Siamo stati molto bene!
Camilla and Antonio were wonderful hosts. They were easy to communicate with through email and whatsapp. The cabin was perfect and exactly what we needed to begin our adventures in Rome. I highly recommend staying with them!
My stay in the cabin was very brief. I arrived the evening before an early flight out of Rome. This is an excellent place to stay before flying out. It is very close to the airport, the space is large, clean, and very comfortable. The private bath is a nice size. I was in contact with Camilla as I found my way, and Antonio was home to show me the cabin. My navigation system got me to their home and I knew I was in the right place when I was rowdily greeted by a large pack of friendly dogs. But not to worry if you are not a dog-person. They were all are behind the fence and seemed very friendly.
I do not know how long it takes to get to the center of Rome by public transit, but by car it would be kind of far. However, if you are looking for a quite getaway outside of the city, I would definitely recommend this place. It seems to me like great accommodations for a longer stay if you want to be outside the city. I was not there long enough to comment on what the local area has to offer.

Antonio and I met at a line dancing night, and got married in cowboy hats and boots less than a year after that in Columbia,MO. We love animals: I go crazy for dogs and Antonio has an insane passion for horses, thus our big, furry, family: two horses, a foal and a mini horse. We also have two couples of parrots living with our mini horse Mou.
We now have an adorable baby son called Liam, who was born two months premature and now enjoys open air and company.
We collect magnets and line dance, and we have the dream, one day, to move to Wyoming, or Texas, in a ranch.
My mom Franca lives next street but is always around to help us with everything. She will cook the meals on the menu using her fresh grown veggies of her garden and the olive oil made by our parents in law, and will drive you to the airport if you need early morning rides.
We will all be happy to meet you and will do our best to make you feel at home with friends!
