  • Catherine and Phil are the most gracious of hosts and the rental and facilities are wonderful. The rental has everything required to be self sufficient and Catherine and Phil were very thoughtful to leave some basic food items and a very special amenity. The tennis courts are a highlight if you want to get exercise and have some fun. There is a very nice pool and the views are expensive with the Oceano Dunes and Ocean in the background. Anna and I will be back and we recommend this Airbnb to all, especially for those who want to take advantage of the facilities and have a restful getaway.

  • Amazing stay! The location is exactly as advertised. The host are extremely kind and thoughtful about even details (e.g., recommendations on things to do in the area, providing breakfast options). We would stay here again. Thank you!

  • This house has wonderful canyon views by the pool. Catherine and Phil were wonderful hosts and provided us some nice treats to help us settle in.
We loved the wine region and rolling hills surrounding this area.
We would love to return and stay here again.

  • The property was everything that was described. It has a room separate from the main house. The room has a separate kitchen, beedroom and bathroom. The house is equiped for all your needs. The hosts are so welcoming and accomodating. They provided great reccomendations for local area restaurants and wineries.
The best of the house is the view from the pool. Though we did not get a chance but try to catch the sunset from the pool.

Will definately stay at the Chateau next time i am in the area.

  • Phil and Catherine are gracious hosts and very accommodating. Their guest house is quite spacious and has everything needed for a nice, comfortable stay. They offered use of the tennis court, hoops, backyard, etc., although we spent the majority of our time off the property, visiting nearby vineyards and downtown Pismo Beach, all of which are within minutes of their home.

The location is quiet, secluded and well place for great views of the area on a clear day.

  • George and I had the best little week in Chateau Edelweiss. Catherine and Phil were very much the most attentive hosts. Very informative on where to visit in the area. Specifically, some of the most yummiest wine tasting and dining in the area. The house is perfectly located just 8-10 miles from the best of everything... beach, wine tasting, spa's dining. The accommodations were private, spacious, clean... gorgeous views, and so tidy and clean. I look forward to another visit. They were Gems of a host/hostess. Best... G&G

  • We had a wonderful experience at Chateau Edelweiss. First, Phil and Catherine are lovely hosts--really friendly, generous, easy going and accommodating.

The rental unit is part of the larger house, but feels very private. It's roomy and comfortable inside--we felt at home and relaxed. The unit has a balcony in front that overlooks the tennis/basketball court (equipment provided), and has a magnificent view of the setting sun to the West.

Around the corner from the unit is the larger yard and swimming pool, which was truly unique and a lot of fun to swim in.

The setting is secluded, private and quiet, but very close to SLO, Arroyo Grande, and about a zillion really great wineries.

We had a fantastic vacation and would definitely go back.
