My daughter and I stayed here for a very relaxing 25th Birthday. The property description was exactly, if not better, than pictured on the website. Our Hosts greeted us with great enthusiasm & had left some goodies for us so we didn't have to run right to the store. They left drinks, yogurt & pastries from a local bakery that were great! The location of the property couldn't be better - right in line for wine tasting, going to Avila Beach & SLO. The unit was stocked well and very clean, private, lots of natural light. The grounds, spa & pool were great - very, very relaxing. Nightlife very close if you want some excitement. We took a short drive to the beach for some hiking that was beautiful. Lots of local winery/dining/spa pamphlets in the unit. Looking forward to going back soon!
Our stay at Chateau Edelweiss was exactly as described by the host and the reviews. Catherine and Phil were very pleasant and accommodating. They stocked our fridge and had wonderful pastries for us upon arrival. The property was beautiful! We really enjoyed our mornings launging by their pool with our coffee and their friendly dogs, Lucille and Hershey The house is in a lovely neighborhood with great views and a gorgeous pool. It was a truly relaxing Anniversary weekend for us. Catherine also had some great restaurant and winery recommendations for us to enjoy!
Catherine texted us before we arrived so that she could be there when we arrived. She showed us around, gave us local suggestions, and left us to our privacy. The pastries and breakfast supplies were very convenient and delicious! We really enjoyed having a home-like place to return to each day while we were on vacation. They were very generous with their space and even had us over for dinner! The drive to town was pretty fast and easy, and the Arroyo Grande Village was delightful! They were great hosts - accommodating and helpful, but let us be on vacation. We had a great time!
Catherine and Phil made us feel very much at home. The home is in a lovely rolling wooded area with some great views, however I do not recall seeing the ocean from the house.
The house was exactly as described--lovely, manicured property, gracious hosts who left an array of snacks and drinks in their immaculately clean guest area. We had a wonderful time--they provided extremely precise directions to the private gate entrance, and when we met them the morning after our arrival (we got in pretty late), they were gracious, friendly, and helpful in pointing out great activities in the area. We would stay there again, and recommend it to anyone without hesitation.
We had a wonderful weekend staying at Chateau Edelweiss and exploring nearby SLO and Arroyo Grande. Their home is in a stunning location, right on top of a hill with fantastic sea views. Catherine and Phil are great hosts, they have thought of everything! They stocked our fridge with provisions and encouraged us to use their amazing pool/hot tub and tennis court during our stay. They also gave us great recommendations for local wineries and restaurants.
I can't recommend this place enough and would definitely stay here again!
This was our first experience using Airbnb and it could not have been better! Chateau Edelweiss was a lovely getaway and a wonderful experience all the way around! We enjoyed the pool and the view, the weather was ideal...and the town of Arroyo Grande had a variety of restaurants to choose from, with each of them having its own unique feel. Catherine and Phil were helpful with suggestions for the area, and very welcoming to us. Highly recommend this beautiful location!
