There are some beach chairs, floats and beach umbrellas at the property which guests are welcome to use.
We love that you can walk to everything that Kings Beach has to offer. It's so easy to stop at the safeway on the way in to stock up on supplies and then park the car for the remainder of the stay.
Bus stop 5 minutes walk from the house, buses go all around North Lake Tahoe
Below is some information we prepared to assist with a safe and enjoyable stay.
•Parking – There is parking for two vehicles on the property, one in the garage and one in front of the garage. All other cars must be parked on the street.
•A remote for the garage is located on the counter in the kitchen
•Snow removal, we have privately contracted services to clear all paved areas of snow on the property. A shovel is provided in the garage to clear the front steps of snow.
•Leave all ski/snowboarding gear in the garage and do not bring into the house. Ski racks are provided on the garage wall. Snowboards may be leaned against the wall.
•Leave wet/muddy shoes in the entry areas on mats, carpet is regularly cleaned, however it is marked in some areas from the wearing of dirty shoes indoors.
•No smoking in the house
•No house parties
•No pets unless prior approval given
•Emergency Police-Fire-Ambulance: Call 911. An emergency preparedness plan is contained in a folder available at the property. Emergency supplies are located on the top shelf of the cabinet to the left of the sink. Please only use supplies in an emergency.
House heating is controlled by a Thermostat located on the wall in the living room and is easily adjustable. Please turn heat down to 50 upon departure in the winter. Do not turn heat off! This will cause the pipes to freeze and burst!

To turn on TV press the ON button on the TOSHIBA remote. The screen takes about 15 seconds to turn on. To watch cable, set the channel on the TOSHIBA remote to 3. Use the CHARTER remote to change channels. To watch Netflix press the Netflix button on the TOSHIBA remote. Use the TOSHIBA remote to control Netflix.
All toilets are low flow. Please do not flush feminine products or excessive toilet paper down the receptacles.
When the kitchen receptacle under the sink is full please place securely tied trash bags in the bear box in the driveway. Please do not put trash bags out on any of the decks to avoid attracting animals (Bears, Raccoons, Coyotes, etc.) to the property. Trash collection is on Wednesdays.
The fire extinguisher is located under the kitchen sink.
Cleaning products are located under the sink; please ensure children do not open this cabinet.
Guests are welcome to use the spices.
Guest Bedroom with bunk bed
Please take care when using the bunk bed and do not load the top bunk bed with more weight than is safe.
Prior to 11am Check Out
Do your last set of dishes through the dishwasher.
Start a load of towels and get them in to the dryer before departure. If you are able to get through more than one load leave the clean towels on the bed with a note that says CLEAN. Please never leave anything wet in the washer.
Strip beds and leave sheets beside bed, do not take sheets to washing machine as they tend to get mixed up.
Leave the property in a tidy manner. There will be an additional charge if out of the ordinary cleaning is required.
Check to make sure no personal items have been left behind. We are not responsible for lost or forgotten items, but we will assist you in their return.
Leave garage remote on kitchen counter
Ensure all doors are closed and locked
Put all trash in the bear box in the drive way
If outdoor grill was used please check gas level on the indicator, if low please let us know so that we can get it refilled prior to the next guests.
