Our beautiful custom home is located on a quiet, wooded lot in a lake community. Enjoy cooking in our gourmet kitchen and relax at "home"; or swim, kayak, fish, golf, hike, shop, gamble or explore small nearby towns, all less than 20 minutes away!
See captions in photos to see what makes our home special!
Guests will have access to several community parks/gazebo/playground, the lake/public boat launch, the golf course and Proshop/restaurant.
Interaction with guests
Communication of clear expectations is important with each rental so asking questions and/or for clarification of guidelines is encouraged!
We are always available to contact 24/7, by text or cell phone and/or internet in order to help make your stay relaxing and enjoyable!
Other things to note
The garage is not available for guests to use for covered parking; although there is adequate space in the driveway for parking.
Cell service can be spotty at times for most providers. We have an Airrave available for those with Sprint as their provider. This is essentially a mini cell tower so you will enjoy great service. U.S. Cellular also works fairly well in this community.
For Verizon and AT & T; once you connect to the wifi available in our home, you should be able to use your cell phone without your specific service provider.
This is a PET FREE home in order to maintain a dander-free environment for people with allergies to pets.
No smoking inside. Smoking outdoors only with use of ashtray due to location on natural wooded lot.
Special arrangements must be made in advance of all daytime/drop-in guests and discussion of intent of visit must occur prior to reservation. No gatherings larger than 8 guests allowed at any one time.
Cancel up to 7 days before your trip and get a 50% refund. Cancel within 7 days of your trip and the reservation is non-refundable.
I am a "semi-retired" teacher, mother of two grown daughters and past Montessori-based preschool business owner.
I currently keep myself busy working as a part-time nanny, tutor, consultant for early childhood educators and a part-time preschool teacher at a Certified Family Child Care home. Steve is an environmental engineer and works for the City of Portland.
We enjoy camping, day trips and excursions, traveling, gardening, hiking, exploring, cooking, listening to music, watching movies, yoga, attending local events and festivals and being spontaneous and adventurous!
In my spare time I enjoy jewelry making/beading, scrapbooking and crafting and spending time with my husband, Steve, who is my best friend and soulmate. Steve enjoys playing guitar, beer making (and beer drinking!), motorcycle riding and participating in local 10K races.
After many years of putting time, heart and soul into constructing this beautiful vacation home, we have the desire to share it with others when we are unable to use it. We have also begun marketing it to small groups of "crafters" who desire a relaxing place to escape in order to create!
We have a great network of friends and neighbors in this easy going community, who have offered to make themselves available to answer questions and try to accommodate each guest to make every stay relaxing and enjoyable.
