One bedroom condo at Sun Harbor on St. Pete Beach overlooks a beautiful cove off the Intracoastal Waterway with Public Beach Access just across the street, where pristine, white sand & warm Gulf waters await you! Centrally located in the middle of everything, but seems worlds away.
This little piece of paradise is warmly decorated to make you feel right at home. The pass-through counter in the kitchen allows you to interact with your partner, while putting together snacks or making a glass of iced tea. Just off the bedroom, there is a patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee and let the sounds of the intracoastal waterway prepare you for your day.
There are two day docks available for residents' use and the beach is just across the street.
The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. Frequently, manatees and dolphins swim in the cove, and there's little boat traffic. Walk 1/2 m south to the world-famous Don CeSar Resort, where DiMaggio and Monroe once strolled and it is rumored Mick Jagger wrote "Sympathy for the Devil." A 1/2 mile north the Dolphin Village Shopping Center has a Publix, CVS Pharmacy and many other shops and boutiques.
The local transit authority has a trolley that takes you from the southern end of PassAGrille to North Clearwater Beach & downtown St. Pete. Also, Island Ferry Boat Tours provides a ferry service to bring you to downtown St. Pete from the beaches for $25 round trip! This new service coordinates their schedule with Free Beach Rides, which is very popular with the locals, to make your sightseeing outing a breeze!
Other Things to Note
Downtown St. Pete boasts the Dali Museum, the only permanent Dale Chilhuly exhibit, Museums of & Fine Arts, the historic Vinoy Renaissance Hotel, and world class restaurants. Also, it is home to the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team and Rowdies soccer team. The Mahaffey Theatre was used for auditions for TV's "America's Got Talent," and is host to traveling Broadway theatre (website hidden). Pete Beach and surrounding areas have been used as "shooting locations" for the movies "Cocoon," "Summer Rental," and "Spring Breakers." Also, located in the Tradewinds Island Grand Resort is an art gallery featuring the works of the Guy Harvey, marine wildlife artist and conservationist. His depictions of sealife, especially of sportfish such as marlin, are very popular with sport fishermen and have been reproduced in prints.
Non-smoking condo. Pets under 50 pounds are allowed with additional $50 cleaning fee.
Really nice appartment! Quick respons and good information.
The apartment was fabulous and very clean. Victoria responded quickly to all my emails and was very helpful. We had a great time in this apartment!
This condo was perfect! Exactly what my husband and I were looking for. Great location and beautiful property. We will definitely stay there again!
We had a great time! The area was really low key and the beaches were never very crowded (stayed tues through sun.) The beach is right across the street; easy entrance through a beach bar!
The internet didn't work at first, but that was taken care of as soon as I e-mailed them. Kitchen was great with all necessary appliances. Beach and bath towels provided. Bed, pillows, and couch were comfy. The only negative things:it smelled like something died in the refrigerator, but I didn't mention that to the landladies, so that's really on me. Also, they appeared to be doing construction on the next room so it could get loud a times, but never at night.
