Nice attic room with amazing views (if you stand on a chair or are tall!) over the beautiful market town of Hebden Bridge.
It is smallish room 5 metres x 3.8 metres approximately.
It has one single bed and one double sofa bed and one futon in a little "den" under the eaves, kids like it but adults might find it a little claustrophobic!
So technically you can fit 4 people in there but it would be a bit of a squeeze.. Although an economical option if you are on a budget and don`t mind the lack of space/privacy.
Free pc and wifi/internet access. Flatscreen tv, dvd,cd.
Free tea, coffee, toast, juice and cereal for breakfast or at any other time if you like.towels provided.
Free transfer: I will pick you up from Hebden Bridge station if arriving by train or bus.
Hebden Bridge is known for its independent shops, cafes and galleries. It's the fourth funkiest place in the world to live according to BA's inflight magazine!
5 minutes walk to the town centre.
10 minutes walk to the train station.
Manchester and Leeds are only 40 minutes away. Direct line to York. Bronte country is a short bus ride away and the Bronte sisters' house and museum is well worth a visit.
Hebden Bridge is great for walking. Either leisurely strolls in the woods, open moors, by the canal or river. For keen hikers there are lots of beautiful routes on the doorstep.
Fishing, course and trout very close by.
Mountain biking routes are available from the tourist office in town too.

Nigel was a fabulous host! Flexible, welcoming, relaxed and easy going. We all loved the spacious and cosy attic room and it felt like a home from home instantly. Great place to stay and a thoroughly positive experience.
No problems, Nigel is polite, and lets you come and go and get on with your stay as you wish.
We had a good stay with Nigel in Hebden Bridge. He is a friendly host and he made us very welcome.
Nigel's place was ideal as a comfortable, relaxing base for our traditional singing weekend, held in a pub along the canal. He's a relaxed and friendly host, meeting us from our train and showing us a quick way down into town. Thank you!
What a great stay at Nigel's (aka Miguel) beautifully placed home. He made us more than welcome. We had smiles on our faces and laughed the whole time we were there. The attic room perfectly met our needs, and the view from the window was the business. Cheers Miguel, you were the perfect host. If we return to Hebden Bridge in the future I'll be getting in touch.
I had a lovely night in Nigel's home, with my two grandchildren (12 & 7) who thought his attic was really cool! He couldn't have been nicer as a host - fetched us from the station, looked out for the girls as they went to the park opposite, and was open and easy to get to know.
Enjoy your stay.
Nigel was the perfect host - friendly, helpful and relaxed. Not only did he provide an excellent, warm room with comfy beds, clean towels and bathroom and a great view of Hebden (on tip toes as promised) - he also improved our experience of the town by recommending the perfect place for us to eat! And he makes a great cup of tea too. Thanks Nigel hope to see you again!
We had a great time at Nigels, perfect host and very easy going. He came and met us off the train which was great because he showed us a shortcut and we were there in no time. The house is really nice and our room was comfortable and full of character. We invited Nigel to the pub and we had a great time chatting away about music and all sorts.
Nigel has good coffee making skills too which was very welcome come Sunday morning!
We had a warm welcome from Nigel despite totally ignoring his directions and as a result getting lost! He came out to find us and it felt like meeting up with an old friend. Just what we hoped for from Airbnb. The room was charming, the bed was comfy and we had everything we needed, including a map and What's On leaflets for the area. We were really close to the town centre so could just walk in and didn't have to worry about parking. Luckily we're used to hills...
Nigel was a laidback but considerate host, we didn't feel fussed or pressured at all and he made us feel thoroughly welcome. He was excellent company and it was nice to be invited so generously into someone else's environment, which added to the enjoyment of our visit to Hebden. His local photographs are stunning and he also makes a fantastic cup of coffee!
As Airbnb newbies we were not fully aware that we would literally be sharing someone's own home quite as much as we were but this wasn't an issue, just different! Nigel was welcoming and friendly and only added to our experience in Hebden.
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
