Studio with king-sized bed, view, deck, shower and soaking tub. Walk down 24th Street to the Mission, or up the street to Potrero Hill restaurants and shops. Quiet street, public transit close by, and street parking. Kid and pet-friendly.
This in-law unit is the bottom floor of our Victorian house. One large room houses the king-sized bed, dining and sitting area, with a fridge, microwave, electric kettle and coffee maker. There is no kitchen. The big bathroom has a soaking tub and separate shower. Kids and well-behaved, flea-free pets welcome. There's an air mattress available for kids or a third adult. You have your own deck and access to the yard, and there's a park across the street-- and great urban hikes just outside the door. There are big windows and heated concrete floors.
Washer and dryer available upon request. There's lots of free street parking just outside, but on weekdays from 8-6 it's only one hour parking for non-resident cars (so overnight and weekend parking is fine- and free- but you'll have to move your car during the weekday). There is additional, not time-limited parking available one block away.
We- two adults, one kid, one dog, one cat- live upstairs. (People with pet allergies, please note: the studio is professionally cleaned before each guest, but we allow guests to bring their pets, and we have pets ourselves.) When we are home, we frequently have gatherings on our deck upstairs. You're welcome to join us should you like, and we will respect your privacy if you choose to not.
Potrero Hill is the best! It's usually sunny and warm, with great views of the city and fog rolling in to blanket the other parts of the city! There are fantastic restaurants, bars and coffee shops, fun shops, two live music venues and many parks and playgrounds within easy walking distance of our house-- and that's just in Potrero Hill. Walk down 24th Street to all the Mission District has to offer, or over the hill to the Dogpatch neighborhood, with new cool places opening every day.
The 19 Polk Muni line stops on our corner, and brings you to Civic Center and all the way to Fisherman's Wharf. The 10 and 48 stops are one block from our house, bringing you downtown and South of Market, or over the hill to the Dogpatch. A 15 minute walk down 24th to the 24th/Mission Bart stop allows you to Bart to SFO, or the Ferry Building. If you have a car, there's easy parking out front on the street, and you can hop right onto the 101 and the 280 to explore.
We have a large, shy, gentle dog. He gets along well with other dogs and is accustomed to children. When we are home, you will likely hear our footsteps and voices as our living room and dining room are above the unit. We're out of the house from 8-6 most weekdays.
loved it!... views are super... lounge area, bathroom, bed... all very comfortable and pleasant... loved the jambox for my ipad.. listened to music and read watching the sunset... convenient to the Mission.. and invigorating, strenuous walk to 18th and Connecticut for wonderful restaurants
My second-ever AirBnB stay was awesome (as expected). I booked Annabrooke's place while visiting SF on business and her place is exactly as depicted in the photographs. Very cozy, clean (super important to me) and accessible. The entire check-in process was very smooth, almost like having an itinerary and personal assistant, and communication was great. The host even helped me accommodate a visiting co-worker who decided to share the studio with me. I definitely recommend this place.
Annabrooke's place is a true Potrero Hill gem. My girlfriend, dog, and I spent five nights there during a recent work trip and were very happy with the location, the amenities, and the space itself. As others have mentioned, the bathroom is spectacular, not unlike a high-end spa. It's really hard for me to find a tub I fit in (I'm 6'4"), but the soaking tub was one of the best I've been in. The nighttime view from the French doors is cinematic. Will definitely stay here again.
Lauren and I were visiting SF for a week and had planned to drive up the coast to Portland. We loved San Fran too much to leave so we booked this Protrero Hill apartment for the second week. It was absolutely amazing. The shower was incredible, the place was warm and comfortable. Though we never actually met the hosts they were great with getting back to us on time and when we arrived they had champagne and treats waiting our arrival!
I recommend this apartment and neighbourhood to anyone visiting the area. The neighbourhood views were incredible and it was within walking distance to lots.
Thanks again and I hope others enjoy.
Loved AB's place and enjoyed the little thoughtful extras that she provided for breakfast. Clean, lots of space, and the shower is amazing! I would definitely stay again.
In my travels for work, I don't know how I had never stumbled across Annabrooke's place. Her studio is absolutely perfect! Quiet, luxurious, and located in the best area. Couldn't have envisioned a better stay!
The bed is the comfiest I've ever slept on, and her soaking tub was a relief after a day of flying and walking around the city's hills. Do yourself a favor and BOOK THIS SPACE! :)
Beautiful apartment and really nice hosts. Loved the deck! We would definitely stay here again if we didn't just rent an apartment in San Francisco!
This was a perfect place for our weekend getaway to San Francisco! It was easy walking distance to many fun things in the city, very clean and super comfortable. The view out the back porch alone is worth it - it is breathtaking!
I thoroughly loved annabrooke's place. I unfortunately had to leave earlier than It thought and it made me sad because the studio is amazing. Great light, a full deck with a nice view of potrero hill, and a truly incredible bathroom. It's elegantly decorated in a very minimalistic fashion which i really loved. The bed is also very comfortable, and so are the sofas in the little living room area.
The place was also perfectly clean when I arrived.
Other than the great place itself, you're close to the mission which is a great part of town for restaurants and bars.
The place was awesome, and I must say that Annabrooke was an excellent host as well. You easily get in touch with her to talk about anything, and she's very reactive. I had to bail early and felt bad but she totally understood and was perfectly fine with it.
I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants toe enjoy san francisco for a week-end or on a business trip ;)
It was a fantastic stay in SF. Annabrook's studio is so cosy and we felt like coming home every evening. It was just pleasant and cheerful to be there. Every evening we ha da nice Time on the deck with a nice view. All in all, Annabrooke is a lovekey Person and we always would love to stay there again. Thank you Annabrook.
Many greetings Andre& Monica
