Very nice place in the quiet town of Florensac. Great communication prior. She was unable to be there while we were but her friends were amazing and helped us with everything. They even drove us to the beach one day since we didn't have a car! Pros: As described with everything u need in a kitchen 2 bikes to use Nice patio area Close to all the shops Cute antique home Olive farm was fun trying their olives which we loved, we rode the bikes there about 3 miles. Things to keep in mind: -No air conditioning (fan would really help to bring in cool air) was better when there was a breeze and the first floor stays pretty cool. -Not much to do in Florensac itself, we would want a car if we did it again so that we could do some day trips. There are a couple cheap buses from Herault which stops a short walk from the residence which can take you to Beziers or down towards beach but just aren't very frequent. -there is a good restaurant at wine coop but you will need reservations and they are closed on Mondays so we didn't get to go during our stay. Overall one of our favorite places we have stayed on our tour of Europe and we would definitely recommend it. Diana was great to work with and our stay was flawless.

Hello,Thank you for this review. There is a possibility to rent a car in Florensac, 25E Per day but I had no idea. Florensac is a place where you need a car. Sorry! There are good restaurants in Marseillan on the canal , in Pezenas, Bouzigues, but the best food is in our wine cooperative. There is a fan , but I didn't leave it for you, sorry again All the best.D

Stayed here with a friend for four nights. This elegant and ancient house has been renovated wonderfully. Florensac itself is a charming if somewhat sleepy little town; it's ideally located for beach trips and many cultural/natural excursions. Despite the parking worries, we found several spaces by the main square (Réubublique) each night. Diana is a gracious and very helpful host. I'd recommend this place without reservation and may return myself sometime for a longer visit.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Florensac; the quietness, the greeting of the neighbours, the closeness to both sea and surrounding historic villages, vineyards and sights. Most of all I enjoyed the generous nature of the landlady, Diana. I felt right at home. I wanted, and I got, a genuine house of a Southern French village. I loved the simplicity and the beautiful details of the floortiles and the massive wooden front door. 15 minutes by car You are in either Meze, Sete, Agde or the beautiful Peznas. Only 5 minutes drive away you will find Your first roman bridge on the outskirts of town towards Bessan. Only 30- 45 min.away are Beziers, Montpellier etc... If you want to, go to the beach. Marseillan Plage and other beaches have beautiful sand, restaurants and bars. If you enjoy wine you are in the midst of prime vineyards and good producers of wine. The area around Florensac is called Picpoul de Pinet and the wine is very good quality. The local communal vineyard has even got a very good restaurant "Vinipolis"(walking distance!). I will return - for longer than my 10 days this year! There is still so much to explore!!

We had a great stay with Diana in Florensac. She was very helpful and gave us lots of information about nice towns, good restaurants etc. The house is really beautiful and was super clean. If you are looking for a nice place to have dinner, we would recommend restaurant La table d'Emilie in Marseillan (not the cheapest, but the food was absolutely delicious!). Florensac is a small town, but it's a good base for exploring different cities like Montpellier or Arles. Thanks Diana for your hospitality, we had a wonderful weekend!

Diana was a great host- very welcoming, quick on replies during the bookinh, gave us lots of informations and suggestions about the area (nice places, restaurants, beaches...). The house has been refurbished recently. Everything is in very good shape and the kitchen is well equipped. It was a pleasure to stay there. Diana and Noel, thanks again.

Ali and I enjoyed our stay in Florensac, using Diana's home as a base to a lot of traveling, from Aix-en Provence to the Niaux Caves in Ariege. It was great holiday and having the base was really good. Thanks Diana.

Diana was very attentive from the moment we booked. The house had a rustic charm, had all the basic amenities and was clean. There was lots of hot water, but wifi only downstairs. There's a nice courtyard to sit in. Florensac is a small, quiet town but with very little to do.
