  • What a charming and rustic stone house in Florensac!
We really enjoyed our stay at Diana's place.
We requested this booking very last minute (day before) and thankfully Diana was able to accommodate us and made everything very pleasant for us.

    Pros:
    - Rustic and full of character - both the village and the house
    - Diana is so friendly and ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay. Gave lots of great advice on what to see in the area.
    - Beautiful outdoor terrace/patio that is shared with Diana and her family.
    - The house is attached to hers, but it is completely private and 'your own' while you are there. Yet she is very accessible if we needed her.

    Cons:
    - Internet/Wifi was only accessible in the downstairs kitchen near the courtyard door

    Other points:
    - Lots of stairs to top room and bathroom- we didn't mind as we are active and able but for others with mobility concerns this will be a challenge
    - Parking about a 3-4 minute walk away - we were always able to find a spot easily, but it could be hit and miss.
    - The bakery (patisserie) near the public square has the most delicious donuts (beignets). We went back many times to get them!

Thank you so much Diana. We loved our stay at your place and hope to return again another time!

  • Florensac itself has not much restaurants or shops to offer, but it is an excellent village to stay and to discover the area. Rivers with small waterfalls, cosy squares in little villages, monasteries, vineyards and so on. Diana is very helpful and kind and in to a daily chat if you feel like it. The house is old and charming, and has everything we needed to have a pleasant stay!

  • Stayed here with a friend for four nights. This elegant and ancient house has been renovated wonderfully. Florensac itself is a charming if somewhat sleepy little town; it's ideally located for beach trips and many cultural/natural excursions. Despite the parking worries, we found several spaces by the main square (Réubublique) each night. Diana is a gracious and very helpful host. I'd recommend this place without reservation and may return myself sometime for a longer visit.

  • House: Very charming. This was perfect for us. Plenty of room and rustic at the same time. All the facilities worked as they should . The shower, a note to our English readers, managed 5 bodies, one after the other, without breaking a sweat. Sumptuously hot and pressure like a kärcher.

All our "at home" time was spent in the shady courtyard (July/August). Otherwise the planning of the house doesn't allow total privacy in more than one room.

Florensac: a charming old pearl of a village 15 minutes from the coast.
Region: mile after mile of good beaches, caving and kayaking, 13th century cathedral-like churches in the tinyest villages. A bit "quiet" maybe if you're a plugged-in, internet-junkie teen?
Diana: a charming host if ever there was. Conversation or dinner with her were a treat. She speaks excellent English, helped us greatly when the need arose and her local knowledge was a godsend. She treated us as friends from the start and it made our stay a pleasure. All in all Diana helped us to just get on with having our holiday.

  • We stayed at Diana's place for 10 days in June. It's part of an old house in the medieval centre of little Florensac (minutes to very good bakeries etc.). It was hot outside so we enjoyed the big walls keeping the apartment chilled. The kitchen is very dark so not a place to hang around too much. The bedroom and bathroom are 2 floors upstairs so staying here involves walking a lot of stairs. But it's really nicely refurbished and indeed very charming (at least upstairs). Wifi only works in the kitchen but there it's fast and reliable. Parking looks scary in the beginning but is no problem, you just have to try a few spots. The little courtyard is as pretty as it looks on the pictures but it's shared and it's small so you're never really by yourself. Good value for the price!

  • The accommodation was lovely, though over three levels so we got fit traipsing up and down with the baby! Diana's daughter and her friend hosted us and they were lovely. This accommodation is attached to diana's own holiday home and we shared the beautiful courtyard.

  • Diana is a very warm and attentive host (without being intrusive) who provided us with lots of thoughtful ideas for visiting this beautiful region of France. She has done an amazing job with restoring the house. It suited our needs for the week and the courtyard is lovely. Florensac is an authentic town and has all the services you need, including bakeries, supermarket, green grocers, etc. Car parking can be tricky in the first couple of days but after getting to know the town a little, we didn't have any problems finding a park within 2 minutes walk to the house. Thankyou Diana, we had a great time!

  • My stay at Diana's house was very enjoyable.
My initial booking had to be changed to a later date but Diana accommodated this with no problem.
Upon my arrival in Florensac I was met with great charm and friendliness, given advice on the local area and on the surrounding towns.
During my stay of three weeks I explored the nearby towns by bicycle and sometimes by bus, train trips from nearby Agde are also possible
The area is very pretty encompassing countryside, seaside and historic towns and villages. Florensac makes a good home base whether exploring by bicycle or, more likely for most people , by car.
During my stay I got to know Diana quite well , she is very friendly and helpful , giving advice and travel tips when asked and keeps a lot of information, including maps and brochures which she makes freely available.
I would not hesitate to recommend an airbnb stay with her, Florensac is a very good base for an exploration of Rousillon Languedoc and beyond.

  • Florensac buzzed with the activity of the vendange/grape harvest. Diana was a non-intrusive yet gracious host. The house is in the heart of the village. It was all that we asked for and more. We would recommend it to friends and go again ourselves. It was a magical holiday.

  • I highly recommend this lovely house. Take time off live in a French fairy tale. On top of that Diana is a wonderful host!
