Great location! Mark put with my badgering questions and was available whenever I need him. I would definitely stay here again. It is a beautiful place and close to a lot of fun places to hangout!
Great location in SF and very pleasant flat, perfectly sized for 2 people. At the back of the building so it's away from the street and very quiet.
The space in the garage is useful to keep your car safe and save on the cost of parking.
Great value in San Francisco: clean, quiet (despite the busy traffic in Lombard St.), comfortable and well-equipped. Location is great, walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf. Transaction was 100% straightforward and transparent.
We liked the place overall and have no real complaints.
If you've never been to San Francisco or a big city like New York then you'll be a bit surprised by the size of the apartment. We didn't have to park a car in the garage but it sure if nice to have if you have one, just beware because getting in and out of it will require some skill and patience. It's really tight and on a VERY busy street. You won't be able to use the bbq grill out back so don't plan on grilling any steaks. There are great cafe's 2 blocks up the street on Union.
Other than that, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.
My wife and I stayed here 3 nights during SF visit in January 2014 and were quite happy with the studio house.
It has a very central location, walking distance to major districts (SF is a compact city anyway), also has easy access to bus lines on Lombard Street.
Having a private garage is a huge plus, saves time, money and effort.
If you are looking for a convenient, low cost, practical place, this place is for you.
If you are looking for large spaces, a fancy view, high end furniture etc., please look elsewhere (and be ready to pay more).
Response time of the landlord is quite good: We had a small trouble with the lock during first entry, someone came to help in 5 minutes.
Staying at Marks was great! We didn't get to meet Mark but that wasn't a problem at all. It was a little small but we didn't mind because it fit us perfectly. The location is the best part, all the best spots are just around the corner and easily in walking distance. I would definitely stay at Marks again!
Good location near a lot of shops, bars, the bay, bus lines, etc. Even though the apartment is on Lombard, the apartment faces the back, away from Lombard and toward a much quieter street, so there were no noise issues at all. Very clean place. It is a bit small, but had everything we needed and was a great overall experience.
I had an amazing time in San Francisco while staying at Marina Studio. The place was clean and looked exactly as the pictures show. The location is great and within walking distance to some great cafes and bars. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay while in San Francisco.
Great place to stay in the Marina District. Walk to Union or Chestnut street in less than 5 minutes. Also an easy walk to the Wharf. Parking garage was a life saver, thanks Mark!
Can't say enough about the Marina Studio. Great location right on Lombard, but because it's located at the back of the property it was perfectly quiet - even on a weekend. Awesome private patio space out back. Everything inside was clean and updated.
Also of note was host/manager Ron... He was extremely helpful and responded with a smile to all of our questions and addressed issues quickly and professionally.
Stay with complete confidence!! Highly recommended!!
