Welcome to The Enchanted Cottage...
Share my Magical Private Retreat...
The cottage is located ten minutes from downtown Eugene and The university. We are close to public transit and a fifteen min. or so bike ride along the River path to downtown Eugene. There is off street parking.
It is a quiet space conducive to reading , writing and meditating. Not just a place to stay, but a place to BE. It is private and peaceful. Wifi is available. There is no T.V. There is a stereo/ CD/ I phone dock for charging and music. Also a bookcase full of inspirational books.
It has a full kitchen, ( coffee & tea provided ) and bathroom with shower. There are wood floors, lots of windows and a gas fireplace. Lovely trees and a garden with a fire pit and tons of wood. The bedroom has a full size bed with nice linens, down pillows and comforter. There is a sweet reading nook adjacent to the bedroom.
The newest micro~brewery in town opened up down the block from us. "Planktown". Wonderful food and 18 North West Micro brews on tap. Also on our street is the Sprout building. It is an Old Stone church turned community Center and hosts a Friday Farmers Market from 3:00 to 7:00. We also have a Downtown art walk , third Friday of every month. Many quaint shops, antiques and second hand stores, all this with in easy walking distance from the Cottage.
Please note, there is an additional nightly fee for more than one guest. Most guests find it very comfortable and much more inviting than a hotel. Hope to see you soon!!!
This is a non~smoking/No PET property, Thank You
This was one of the most amazing places we've ever stayed. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and we felt so comfortable! The energy in the cabin was so peaceful and we both felt so amazingly relaxed! We walked to dinner at the new brewery down the road and it was the best meal we'd had in ages. In the morning we walked to coffee and everyone in the neighborhood was out on the front porch enjoying coffee and said hello to us - ironically we stayed here as a pit stop on our road trip to Nappa and it ended up being one of our favorite parts of the trip and we'd actually make this a destination we loved it so much. Had everything we needed for a perfect cozy stay!
The pictures accurately convey the rental - it was a sweet cozy cottage just as pictured. For those of you who are Oregon Country Fair folk - if they rented cottages on some quiet back path at OCF it would be just like this cottage - very homey and full of pretty art and craft objects. Robin was a wonderful and welcoming host. This was the perfect quiet retreat during a busy work weekend for me.
Excellent little cottage for a stay with privacy to boot. Nice and clean and neatly decorated. Comfortable bed and friendly hosts.
Robin's enchanted cottage was the pit stop we needed on our way to Crater Lake. It was relaxing and had everything you need to stay for a night or a week. Robin was a good host and greeted us when we arrived. She walked us through the cottage and showed us around the premises. We had a good conversation with her and her husband and they gave us ideas of what to do around the area as well as some POI's to add onto our trip. Overall would stay again.
The Enchanted Cottage was a wonderful magical respite. Cozy, warm and inviting. It has a very serene vibe and great character. Robin has an eclectic array of books on the shelf that definitely speak to her varied interests. She has filled the space with her own touch giving the cottage its unique personality. Robin has an incredible green thumb, her gardens are a treat to experience.
We had the chance to have morning coffee together getting to know one another. She is an obviously caring individual. I'm sure people are glad to have crossed paths with her especially her close friends . I think she would make anyone feel at ease while offering up great conversation. I look forward to future stays.
Robin's cabin was an incredible experience. We were on a road trip from Seattle to San Diego and stopped in Springfield for the night. It had all the amenities we were looking for and was very spacious. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone traveling through the area. It is right off I5 and easily accessible. We wish we had more time to spend and explore. As my first air bnb experience, it was a great one. Thank you again Robin!
We had a wonderful stay at Robin and Randy's enchanted cottage. It was beautifully decorated with some wonder antiques. It had a great homey welcome feeling to it and a great backyard to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Robin and Randy were very accomodating hosts always available but never intrusive. The bed was also terrific, very comfortable and we had great night sleeps on it. We were there for our daughters graduation and commute into Eugene was less than 10 minutes. We found some nice shops and restaurants well within walking distance so very convenient as well to other amenities. The pictures do not do the cottage justice and we would highly recommend it. If we go back to Eugene we would definitely look to stay there again. Paul Bushell
Everything you've read on these reviews is true and then some.
I stayed only one night and wished I had stayed more. Robin and her husband were exceptional hosts. It was like visiting close friends, that's how you felt after meeting them both. I highly recommend "The Enchanted Cottage" as it truly is "Enchanting" . . . the space as well as the folks that run it.. Thank you much Robin, "i'll be back!"
Robin was so accommodating and it was a last minute kind of ordeal. The cottage was beautiful and quiet and great to wake up in such a nice bed, space, energy and was refreshing to be there. Robin really is wonderful and you can tell from not just her personality but its reflected in her home and interests. She and her place really are wonderful and I totally recommend BnB'ing with her. . .
In my language Quyana Caknek ! Which means Thank You very much !
Robin was a great host, very responsive and helpful. The place was exactly what we were hoping for-it was cozy, well stocked and had a great yard to relax in. We were just there for a night so we didn't get out much, but there are stores, a great pub and a park within walking distance and Eugene is very close by.
