A secluded cabin just outside the city. Perfect for starting your honeymoon or special trip around Alaska. Just big enough for two, the cabin features a small efficiency kitchen, bathroom with shower, queen bed and a loft to curl up with a book. Located at the base of Bear Mountain it is close to hiking & single track trails, a Frolfing course and lakes. Surrounded by woods, the little cabin is a great place to rest & rejuvenate.

The space
Our little cabin is your retreat from the world. Easy to access off the Glenn Hwy, the cabin is tucked into the trees in our backyard. Coffee & tea, electric kettle, hotplate, microwave and small fridge are available for your use. A murphy table folds down from the wall when needed. The loft is accessed by ladder and is perfect for a cozy reading nook. The cabin has electricity, wifi, running water and a modern toilet. Laundry facilities are 5 min away.

I am a lifelong Alaskan. Born and raised in the Eagle River valley, I returned as an adult to raise my family. I am happy to recommend the best hiking trails, lakes to canoe or kayak on and secluded getaways the guide books might not tell you about. We love to get out into the Alaskan woods. Our favorite trips include a tent, a beach and very little planning. I am also a Realtor and am happy to help you find a home if you are in the area. (Website hidden by Airbnb)
