Interaction with Guests
My husband and I live in the main house in front, so you may be as private as you like, but have the option of knocking on the door, should any need arise. Come see us!
Quiet, safe, beautiful older neighborhood with tree lined streets and close access to the largest green space in Salt Lake City, Liberty Park. One block to the Park Cafe, best breakfast spot in town.

No smoking inside and no pets. Otherwise, make yourself at home.
Staying at Julie's studio was so great! The location is a 1-minute walk from Liberty Park and there are a few great places to eat right around the corner. I had great morning runs at the Park and downtown Salt Lake is a 10-minute bus ride away. The place was nice and clean and the air conditioning was a life saver considering that it was 98 degrees outside.
Julie was very easy to communicate with and answered and helped with any questions I had. I definitely recommend this place to anybody visiting SLC. :D

Charming Liberty Park Studio Apt. - for me, it was like a home away from home. The accommodations met all the expections based on the on-line description and more. The neighborhood is pleasant and close to the park, groceries, etc. I will book again on my next trip.
We had a lovely 2 night stay at Julie's cottage. It is well located, clean, and quiet. The hosts were friendly and the dog was sweet and well behaved. Don't miss visiting Liberty Park, a very short walk away. We were on a road trip and it was a refreshing break. I'd happily stay there again.
I had a great 2 weeks stay. The owners are wonderful folks and the apt is comfortable and private. I would definitely stay again. Thanks so much!
Our host was very welcoming and tolerated my elemental understanding of how to maneuver through airbnb site. Cozy and comfortable accommodations that suited our needs perfectly!
Julie's guest house was perfect for me stay in SLC. The location is centralized and liberty park was really lovely to walk around in the morning hours. Parking was always available in their quiet street. Coffee and tea were provided which I really appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the apartment adorable and clean. I hope to stay here again.
This was an excellent and well appointed place to stay. The hosts were friendly and we were glad to be their guests.
About the Host, Julie
I am a 30's something ballerina turned wildland firefighter turned self-proclaimed geek. I grew up dancing in the Arkansas Ozarks where I attended college and obtained a degree in geography specializing in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I then moved to Southern Utah where I met my husband fighting fire for the US Forest Service. We got married in a cave in Arkansas and then moved back to his home state of Oregon. We lived in the Portland area for three years vastly enjoying all the wine, produce, cuisine and culture that area has to offer. In 2012 I landed my “dream job” as the GIS Specialist for Wildland Fire and Fuels for the Bureau of Land Management here in Salt Lake (basically, I make maps for fires). So, we moved back to Utah and have been enjoying all SLC has to offer. We spend our free time backpacking, skiing, boating, biking, fishing and exploring the great state of Utah. I love the Wasatch Mountains, but really find my peace down in the Red Rocks of Southern Utah. I spend a good bit of my time at home in the garden, where there is so much to learn, grow and can. I love bluegrass music and my husband loves reggae, so we have a good mix of culture going on in our home. In July 2013 we got a black lab puppy that we adore. We have always loved hosting folks and very much look forward to getting to know the Airbnb community.
