We loved staying at Julie's place. It was super comfortable and we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We arrived late and checked out early and it was very easy to find and access the guesthouse. The morning views of the mountains were absolutely stunning. While I was at an interview, my husband enjoyed exploring the area, and walked through the park, to breakfast, and explored the neighborhood. Julie had left a binder full of recommendations and directions to local places. This was super helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay in a great location!

Lovely little private area that is behind the hosts home. Very clean, quiet. The hosts are super thoughtful and pretty much have any amenity you'd want provided. Very walkable to Liberty Park. We absolutely loved it! Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay here! Julie made arrival/departure so easy, the studio is well stocked and in the perfect location. We used it as a jumping off point for downtown as well as hiking and we even drove down to Bryce Canyon and Zion one day. It is in a great area for food and drinks and a lovely spot to come home to. Will definitely be back!

This was my second time staying at Julie's place. It's the perfect place for one or two when you want a place to crash and relax at the end of the day with lots of nieces and nephew...well, that's what I did! So cute and comfortable, quiet and great location!

Julie User ProfileJulie is a superhost.

I am a 30's something ballerina turned wildland firefighter turned self-proclaimed geek. I grew up dancing in the Arkansas Ozarks where I attended college and obtained a degree in geography specializing in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I then moved to Southern Utah where I met my husband fighting fire for the US Forest Service. We got married in a cave in Arkansas and then moved back to his home state of Oregon. We lived in the Portland area for three years vastly enjoying all the wine, produce, cuisine and culture that area has to offer. In 2012 I landed my “dream job” as the GIS Specialist for Wildland Fire and Fuels for the Bureau of Land Management here in Salt Lake (basically, I make maps for fires). So, we moved back to Utah and have been enjoying all SLC has to offer. We spend our free time backpacking, skiing, boating, biking, fishing and exploring the great state of Utah. I love the Wasatch Mountains, but really find my peace down in the Red Rocks of Southern Utah. I spend a good bit of my time at home in the garden, where there is so much to learn, grow and can. I love bluegrass music and my husband loves reggae, so we have a good mix of culture going on in our home. In July 2013 we got a black lab named Deets that we adore and in 2015 we welcomed our daughter Lily into the world. We have always loved hosting folks and love being a part of the Airbnb community.
