About this listing
Beautiful entire house, newly completely revamped, in coolest area close to all the best sights, cultural quarters, museums, galleries, eateries, bars and cafes that Dublin has to offer, right by the leafy canal with its beautiful swans. Ideal for a couple, or a single person, or for a couple and a single person who is happy to sleep on an inflatable bed.
Gorgeous, newly revamped central Dublin city entire house. Welcome to Lennox Place, in the heart of sought-after Portobello, a chic and stylish two bedroom mid-terraced city residence, which has recently undergone a tasteful refurbishment. Beyond the classical red brick exterior now lies a bijou pied-a-terre where style, flair, light and well-appointed accommodation await. Adjacent to the canal, on a Victorian tree-lined street, the house gets both morning and evening sun and is in a dream location within ten minutes walking distance of the city centre and so full of character - probably the most desirable, safe and interesting place to stay in the entire city.
There is one double bed and a single inflatable mattress which can be used downstairs if you wish.
Upstairs, the house has one double bedroom. The second bedroom is now an office from which a French door opens onto a roof garden for your enjoyment - it is a sun trap and a rare find in these houses. Downstairs is a bright and tastefully furnished living room with dining or work area. Separate brand new kitchen with dining area. Gas hob, electric cooker, fridge, washing machine/ dryer and water filter tap for drinking water.
Brand new bathroom with bath and electric shower for immediate hot water. Central heating, super fast wi-fi broadband internet.
IMPORTANT: The house is a functioning home and, as such, our books and ornaments remain on the shelves and our clothes remain in the wardrobes and drawers. You have the use of a clothes rail to hang your clothes and under bed storage boxes for clothes storage (please see images). You also have use of all kitchenware and towels and so on.
This lovely, welcoming home is a few minutes walk from Stephen's Green right in the heart of the city - ideal for walking to all the sights, galleries, museums, theatres, cinemas - not to mention bars and restaurants - that Dublin has to offer. The best way to really get to know Dublin is on foot which is why this location is so attractive to visitors. Close to numerous buses, Luas and train stations and of course the Airport bus route - the number 16 leaves you at the end of my street.
We are passionate about Dublin and about travel in general - as well as arts and culture - and will give you ideas on what to see and do if you want.
The house is cleaned to a high standard on your arrival and we ask that you leave it in good shape when you leave. When you tire of all the partying that the city has to offer you may just want to make yourself some supper and snuggle up in front of the fire - which is exactly what this house is designed for. And in the morning, the famous Bretzel bakery is literally on your doorstep for early morning bagels and muffins. Or, treat yourself to an amazing breakfast in one of the nearby cafes such as Wall and Keogh which is at the end of the street. You can take your pick from Dublin's restaurants, all just down the road - Camden Kitchen is classy and good value, Green 19 does dinner for a tenner. The Bernard Shaw pub is around the corner for hipsters - and Cassidy's is the place to go if you simply want the best pint of Guinness in town - again around the corner from this house. The Jewish Museum, George Bernard Shaw's birthplace, The Iveagh Gardens and a whole host of other cultural sights are minutes away as are good supermarkets, off-licences and delis. You can easily walk into town to see Temple Bar, The Irish Film Institute, The Book of Kells, the National Gallery and Museum - and much more. The St Patrick's Day Parade ends close to the house.

This house is a charming space, just completely revamped and redecorated. Please treat it as you would your own home.
Smoking is not permitted inside and sorry, no furry pets!
The house will be spick and span when you arrive – please leave it just as you find it.
Please be mindful of security: close all windows and remember to lock the bottom Chubb lock on the front door as you enter and leave.
Considering we are so close to the city centre, the area is surprisingly quiet. Neighbours appreciate you keeping it this way - especially after 10pm please.
