This was my first time using airbnb so I was very nervous, but Bianca made the whole process very easy and comfortable. The apartment was clean and beautifully light filled, spacious enough for the 3 of us.
The apartment is centrally located to all the attractions and close to surrounding restaurants on polk st and public transport, making everything easily accessible.
I had the pleasure of having Bianca host me for 3 days during a trip to San Francisco. I had to reach out to Bianca at the last minute, when my previous reservation cancelled at the last minute. Bianca was prompt in her response and accommodated my request for a late check in. She gave me detailed directions on parking in the area, and was there in person to help me check in even though it was past 10 PM. My friend arrived the next morning, and since I needed to be at a business meeting, Bianca took time away from her morning to help with letting my friend in. While we did not get to see much of Bianca through the rest of our stay, she was always prompt in getting back to us on any inquiries we have. She had the apartment cleaned and left us a lot of treats to enjoy. She did everything within her means to make our stay welcome and comfortable. As I mentioned to her, I might have found my preferred host in San Francisco.
The apartment was exactly as advertised, in fact even better. Conveniently located in the lower Russian Hill, it was the best location for a walking tour of the best parts of San Francisco. We walked from the apartment all the way down to the Marina, and walked back home after a late dinner in Little Italy. The locality is very safe and has easy access to great food and bars that stay open late. Street parking was available, and when in a pinch there is a great garage about 2 blocks down with very affordable parking. Overnight street parking was very safe and my rather fancy looking car, was untouched. The highlight of the apartment is most definitely Contraband, one of San Francisco's better coffee places.
The apartment comes furnished with all the amenities one would need for a long comfortable stay. While the apartment overlooks Larkin, there is no road noise and we enjoyed many wonderful nights of blissful sleep through out stay.
The place is highly recommended for tourists and business travelers alike who would like to experience a true San Francisco neighborhood.
This is one of the best experiences we've ever had with Airbnb, and we've had several good ones. Bianca's apartment is comfortable and quiet. The location can't be beat. Bianca herself is wonderful and warm, easy to communicate with, very accommodating (brought us a larger French press when it became apparent we were serious coffee drinkers), and responds quickly if you need anything. The kitchen is well stocked (the refrigerator was full of yogurt, cheese, fruit, and milk when we got there) and easy to use. Lots of toiletries, a blow dryer, and an iron and ironing board all are provided, and there are laundry facilities in the basement. No TV, but we were not in San Francisco to watch TV! The bed is very comfortable. Two things: when you use the shower, the "off" position is with the knobs out to the side, not down -- and I took off my shoes to be courteous to the tenants downstairs, since it's a hardwood floor. Absolutely loved this place and we will definitely be back.
Great hostess! She was easy to contact and responded quickly. Cute and quiet place to stay. Very clean and great location
Bianca was a great host. We were delayed at the airport but she very kindly waited for us to arrive to show us the apartment. She also let us check out late as our flight home was late in the evening. The apartment is bright, spacious and very comfortable. It is also very quiet so you will have no trouble sleeping after a day's sight seeing. It has everything you need for your stay and Bianca very kindly provided all the essentials for breakfast and shower gels, shampoos etc (if you need them). Larkin Street is mostly residential but nearby Polk Street has good bars and diners. It is also just a few yards from the California Street cable car and just a few blocks from Lombard Street. It is close to all the major tourist attractions and just a ten minute walk to Union Square and Market Street. Great alternative to a hotel I would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in San Francico.
Bb's place is an utter delight! It's full of light, clean, quiet and had everything we needed. We felt so safe there, like we'd found an oasis in the busy city. Very easy access to public transportation, great coffee, groceries, bars and restaurants (website hidden) was so kind and welcoming. As my first airbnb experience, she made it easy--answering all my questions.
A wonderful apartment in a great location. We walked everywhere and it was very safe. Public transport is also very near by. A good coffee shop next door to start the day. Fantastic restaurants within walking distance. The description of the apartment is exactly correct the garden outlook is quite unique. Very very quiet we all slept very soundly after exploring all day. Highly recommended. Our host met us in the apartment after a long flight and was warm and welcoming. A great place to stay.

About the Host, Bb
After having lived in a few different countries, I decided to move to San Francisco 3 years ago. I fell in love with this city and it's unique culture, and I enjoy every minute of my life here.
While living in Europe my company used to send me to business trips and I'd stay in some of the nicest hotels. However, since the trips were frequent and all these 5* hotels looked great but very much the same, I remember waking up in the morning and often having trouble recalling what city I was in. I used to say that I would much rather stay at an average little home than the best hotel. I think my wish came true with this Airbnb boom. Therefore I love sharing my home and love staying at Airbnbs when I travel.
That's also the reason why when I give you the keys to my house I want you to fully feel at home, and get that unique experience that no hotel can give you.
The cultures and expectations vary of course, but I do my best to be fully available on my phone 24/7 and to answer any of your questions, and I am very happy that my guests find their stay delightful.
