We had an amazing stay on the houseboat. The views were beautiful and the houseboat immaculate and perfect. We used the kayak and stand up paddle board one day which was a blast. Truly one of the best stays we have had. Henry was easy and all directions were precise and no issues whatsoever. We did not want to leave. It was so peaceful and serene with the cool night breezes. Thanks for a great time and we already want to go back to Henry's houseboat!
Great time on Henry's boat in Sausalito. The weather was a little wet and windy, but the "Sausalito Floating Loft" made (email hidden) to hibernate and drink wine while surrounded by boats and water! A good time indeed.
Henry's boat was exactly as depicted in the pictures and clean and comfortable overall.
An experience we will likely try to have again.

We spent a great 10 days on Henry's houseboat in April 2014. The location is perfect. Close to San Francisco, but in the exclusive town of Sausalito. The boat has a great docking position. From the stern (rear of the boat) you look across Richardson Bay to the hills of Belvedere. From the bow (front of the boat) you look up to the exclusive homes in the hills of Sausalito. The marina, while close to downtown Sausalito & the ferries to SF, is a short walk/drive north, close to but out of the tourist activity of town. A number of great restaurants, delis, coffee shops, markets, cleaners are within two blocks or closer to the marina. The experience was even better than we had hoped; the boat & equipment was as described. Henry (email hidden), stopping by during our visit to insure the domestic waste tank (for the marine toilet) had been pumped & all else was satisfactory. Marine toilet worked great, shower was roomy, particularly for a boat. Primary bed very comfortable and the lower loft (email hidden) for our grandchildren to sleep, rest & play with Grandma & Grandpa's iPads. Marina had an eclectic character, all friendly but quiet & private as one would prefer. We can't wait to go back.
I had a great time staying on Henry's scrupulously clean houseboat. I breakfasted at the Lighthouse Cafe (an excellent Danish/American/Mexican place across the street) and used Uber and the Sausalito ferry to travel daily to San Francisco for my four-day visit to the Bay area. I had the pleasure of returning nightly to be with the fun and interesting people who live at the marina and the comforts of home at Henry's houseboat. I hosted my brother's family for pre-dinner drinks on the stern of the boat, where we bird-watched and enjoyed views of Tiburon across the water. I would happily have stayed there a month, but alas I had to return to work on the east coast. Thank you Henry for a wonderful visit to the Bay Area!
Totally unique place to stay. My two kids love telling everyone about their first time sleeping on a boat. We ate dinner with blankets on the top deck. In the morning we made hot chocolate and watched the birds, seals and human neighbors fish. Just what I was looking for.
Henyr's boat house is absolutely amazing. We spent 4 nights here in March during spring break, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The place was very clean. The boat is on the corner slip so you have unobstructed views. The sea lions were playing outside of the boat in the morning, the kids LOVED it! The kids also loved the nook they slept in. There were great place to eat within walking distance, easy to get to the ferry. Henry was very responisve and friendly. I would reccomend this to anyone, and I'm looking forward to staying here again!
Amazing location in Sausalito. Interesting community to be a part of. Where else can you be tucked into the most amazing place and views on the water and see the GC bridge, or walk into Sausalito for dining and sightseeing? We had sea lions swimming by our slip!! The houseboat is modern and new with a lovely bathroom. The communication with Henry was excellent and very prompt - especially for a last-minute booking! The houseboat was clean and spotless when we arrived.
After cycling to Sausalito my friends and I got it in our heads that we wanted to stay on a boat for the night. We found Henry's place on AirBNB and knew it would be a perfect fit. Once he confirmed we biked over and were completely blown away with the view, serenity, and cleanliness of this house/boat. Henry was super helpful and all the details we needed were sent in a handy email packet. We loved it so much we decided to stay for 2 nights. The only thing that would make it better would be if it were my permanent home. :)
Thanks for an awesome experience Henry!
The boathouse was great, very clean, well stocked with water, soap etc - things a lot of hosts forget. This was perfect walking distance to everything. The TV was awesome at night with lots of movies. Very cool shower, and best location on the dock. Super quiet! Tempurpedic bed was also very comfy. A great way to decide if you ever want to live on a boat. Henry was also perfectly responsive on every question!
