When you book, please provide me with your arrival details. Keys will be left in a lock box on the front door for you along with instructions for entry. I will give you the code to the lock box once the reservation is made. Although I prefer to meet and greet guests, it is not always convenient as I work throughout the week and weekend and guests' travel plans often change.

Not only was the location perfect (Garden District, right off St. Charles, walk-able and plenty of parking), but Ariana is one of the most gracious people I've encountered. My wife and I loved the apartment, and Ariana made it feel like we were at home while on vacation. (She left us a fabulous welcome basket, full of Zapps and Abita!) I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful experience in New Orleans.
This was a deeply positive experience with a great price point that was competitive with hotels listed on the internet during jazz festival--which in the French Quarter was twice as expensive. First, the pictures don't do it justice and it is much larger--the queen size bed is being moved comfortably to the middle of the room and the nice touches are not highlighted: phonograph record with New Orleans jazz festival, chocolate left on the pillows, fruit and breakfast bars in bowl and a well supplied medicine cabinet of toiletries, small kitchen with fridge and stove. Second, location was great in the Garden district near many affordable yet 4 star restaurants, steps from the street cars, and a ten minute ride to the horse track/jazz fest (best access compared to similar concerts in San Francisco, Chicago, and Bonnaroo). I should also add that having been here seven times before and staying in the French Quarter, this was a much more pleasant experience---hustlers, prostitutes and drug dealers can be trying and dangerous at times. Parking was also very accessible and we always parked within one or two houses of her shotgun Victorian. Three, she was helpful with any questions via text for things like walking tours, restaurants and transportation options. She even extended our check out time to the afternoon because of a late plane departure. Finally, if you are looking for an airbnb this might be a model operation. Thanks again and again for the positive experience. My only regret in writing such a positive review is that its likely someone else will beat me out in renting it for jazz fest next year! Oh well, she deserves the praise for giving me such a great experience!!!!!!
Purchased this rental as a gift for my sister. She called me utterly blown away with the accommodations. The place was incredibly charming and they had a wonderful time.
gahhhhhh. I adore this place so much, it was legitimately hard for me leave. I had no idea where in New Orleans to stay. I picked this place by chance and man, did I ever luck out. Such a lovely space. I completely fell in love with it...and Ariana is a total doll! 3!
We had a lovely stay! Ariana was a warm and helpful host. The sanctuary was great and we would love to stay there again!
Perfect place to stay in New Orleans! Far enough away from hustle and bustle of the french quarter to be able to relax, but very easy to get to the action. Ariana was very accessible via text, and was there to show us the apt when we arrived. Would never stay in a hotel over this apt!!!
Though our schedules were tight and we didn't get to meet Ariana face-to-face, we felt abundantly welcome by her due to the detailed instructions, local recommendations, and personal touches. The Sanctuary was easy to find and impeccably clean. We loved the snacks, the cat, and the peaceful garden (especially!). The trolley is only about two blocks away and it is very easy to use for touring the town. However at the end of each day, I was always very glad to return to this quiet spot in the garden district after the bustle in the French Quarter. We can honestly say that staying in Ariana's lovely place was a definite highlight of our trip - highly recommend!

About the Host, Ariana
Ariana loves New Orleans and making sure that folks have a great time while they are here. She gets no greater satisfaction than when her guests fall in love with the city. She's a world traveled Southerner with the a knack for hospitality and an appreciation of privacy.
