This quiet section of downtown allows for peaceful evenings without sacrificing the easy access to sightseeing, shops, restaurants and nightlife. Downtown Savannah is a pedestrian friendly city, and you will rarely need to use your car. If you desire to get somewhere faster, pedicabs and taxis are readily available for pick up at your front door, and bikes are available for rent nearby. Of course, if you prefer a more romantic transport, horse-drawn carriages offer a leisurely and romantic way to see this historic city.
Two elderly and friendly dogs will be present during your stay. Please be sure your any belongings or food brought into the house is safely put away from their curious noses.
My favorite things include travel, books, enjoying the outdoors, cooking fun dishes, being active, and enjoying time with friends old & new. My travel style is flexible - I don't mind a 4 star hotel but just as comfortable camping on a beach or crashing at a local hostel wherever I may be in the world. Meeting new people and learning new things are something I strive to do each and every day.
