Rob's place is the perfect jumping off spot to check out Christchurch, we were no more than a 10 minute walk to the Botanical Gardens and Rob was very helpful in explaining how to get there, and the best way around town. The next time we are in Christchurch we will certainly look up Rob.
Really enjoyed our stay with you guys, you made us feel very welcome, were most hospitable and helpful :) Thank you
Steph and Rob are very friendly. The room is quiet and clean. A perfect accommodation to explore the city (only 15 min by walk from the city centre). Steph gave us some useful advices on the best things to see in the city.
The property is located within a quiet neighborhood. The guest room has a comfortable bed ,a built-in wardrobe and bathroom facilities are nearby. Rob and Steph are most pleasant hosts and happy to assist with tourist info., travel directions and background info. relating to the earthquake. A pleasant and adequate breakfast is served. Recommended.
Thanks for the wonderful hospitality Rob and Stephanie! We were greeted warmly by Stephanie when we arrived with a cup of tea and the fabulous suggestion of the restaurant Dux Dine for dinner. The room was clean and had easy access to the washroom. We appreciated the water and small chocolate in the room. Rob was an excellents source of knowledge about the earthquake rebuilding process and rugby! We would definitely recommend staying with Rob and Stephanie in Christchurch.
About the Host, Rob
My partner Steph and I moved to Christchurch in 2012 to get involved in the rebuild and have loved our New Zealand experience so far. Chch is a great base to explore the south island and we spend a lot of time walking, camping and biking on the weekends.
With the rebuild of the city slowly getting under way great new bars, cafes and restaurants keep appearing and means we're never short of things to do and places to explore.
