This one bedroom condo has three beds: one full in the bedroom and two twins in the living room. It comfortably fits 4 and is centrally located on busy and active Kuhio Avenue. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and on the bus line.
Full kitchen: gas range/oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, microwave oven, dinner and flat ware, kitchen towels, cookware, dishwashing liquid & sponge.
2 ACs, 32-inch LCD TV, in-room safe, free WiFi.

The Bamboo Waikiki at 2425 Kuhio Avenue is an 80-unit, non-smoking boutique property and features a garden pool area with jacuzzi & bbq grill, and a beautifully appointed inner sanctuary (lobby). Two elevators.

Norman made us feel welcomed from the moment we made our reservation. He was completely accommodating with some changes and made sure we had everything we needed. He gave us the 411 on the condo in person and came by to see us out. The room is great for groups and the kitchen saved us a lot of money. I loved the location as you could easily walk 2 blocks to the beach, get an acai bowl next door, and enjoy the hotel's pool downstairs. The only downside is the location is pretty noisy.
We had a great time staying here. Norman and Julie were so accommodating and met us at the apartment building when we arrived, even with an early flight. They minded our bags and made sure the apartment was ready at the earliest possible convenience. They were so generous with showing us around the apartment and the building and making sure they answered all of our questions before we even knew to ask them!
The apartment is very well-sized, it easily fitted the two of us and did not feel cramped at all. It's based on a busy street which made things pretty noisy at night but if you're happy to sleep with ear plugs it's not a problem. The apartment is situated a short two minute (or a block) away from the beach. Very close, but nicely removed from the Direct hustle and bustle of the Waikiki beachfront.
It's right on a bus route which made it easy to get places. The staff at the front desk were also really helpful whenever we had questions about tours and shuttles.
We had planned to use the kitchen more but didn't really get the chance. It was great to have a nice big fridge though. We were also there when it became unseasonably hot so we were thankful for the air conditioning. The included wifi was also excellent for our purposes.
We had a great time and would love to stay there again if we go back. It's a great location. We'd also recommend it to friends. Thanks again, Norman and Julie!
This was our 2nd visit to Waikiki and this time we chose to stay in this self contained apartment rather than a hotel on the main strip due to the lower cost.
Norman and Julie greeted us on arrival, which was much earlier than normal check-in time. They were very friendly and showed us around the property and gladly answered any questions we had.
The apartment is compact but ideal for a family of 4. Despite it's age, it is well maintained and clean. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. The location is great, only a few minutes walk from Waikiki beach. Kuhio avenue is well serviced with public transport, shops and restaurants. It is a noisy road at night, being a main thoroughfare for buses and local traffic.

This was my second time to stay at Norman and Julianna's condo. They are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. I will definitely be staying here again when in HNL.
Norman was very communicative and accomodating during our 9 day stay here, the location was very convinient although the street noise was definitely noticible.
We stayed a five days in Norman's condo, and were very pleased. Norman and his wife were really nice, very helpful and welcoming. It was a perfect location - close to the beach and near all the "action ". What you see in the pictures is what you get. Nice and clean. Great kitchen space.
Nice little pool and Jacuzzi area.

The hosts were very communicative, professional, and on top of making us feel comfortable. They even got us chocolates with macademia nuts to welcome us!
The apartment was similar to the description, and the amenities were great - including the pizza place downstairs where they let you byo and enjoy the amazing pizza by the hotel pool. It is only two blocks away from Waikiki, making everything convenient especially if you are using public transportation or sticking around that neighborhood. They also had some stuff for the beach.
It was perfect for my family of 4 (e.g., large fridge) and we had a great time!
