  • Perfect! Tom and I and our three grandsons stayed in Ariel's cottage for several days while visiting Ashland. There was plenty of room, a park with an irresistible water fountain for the boys to play in right across the street, easy walks to the science museum, nice places to eat, a great coffee house and, best of all, the Tuesday farmers market. We loved the extras Ariel left us: the popcorn maker, lots of movies to watch, and especially the mini-pool table. Next time we'll bring the dog. Highly recommended!

  • Had a great 2 nights here, my daughter and I were looking at colleges in Oregon. Ariel was very welcoming and the place was clean and quiet. Got good sleep and had a relaxing time -- so nice to get away from California for a bit.

  • Our second stay at Ariel's "city cottage" was even nicer than the first. The cottage is within convenient bike-riding distance of everything you need in Ashland, and we love the park right across the street. We hope to return soon!

  • Being across the street, and having a view of the hills, we really enjoyed this little house. It is a great location for those attending Oregon Shakespeare Festival plays. We were able to walk to the theatres and shopping district easily -- straight up Main Street. (Tip: bring a flashlight if you plan to walk...the Ashland streets are dark in places.)

The house had everything we needed (wi-fi, full kitchen) and the beds were comfortable. Ariel was very helpful, and we liked that she had recycling and compost bins available.

  • We enjoyed a nice three-night stay in Ariel's duplex (or semi-detached house). This is a really spacious place - more like a house than an apartment, with a driveway to park your car, a garage (now serving as a playroom), a good-sized living room with TV/DVD & VHS player, eating area with table for four, full-sized and fully equipped kitchen, two good-sized bedrooms, a standard bathroom with tub and shower, and a grassy fenced back yard with a patio and a dog kennel. A family of four, with pets, could stay here comfortably for a week or more. We took a day to get used to the road noise from the busy street that runs along the side of the house but didn't notice it after that. Ariel was a great host - checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was very clean and our little dog enjoyed the park across the street. We hope to be able to stay here again.

  • I found CC's City Cottage to be a wonderful place to (website hidden) was very well-appointed, including a kitchen with every appliance you could possibly need.
The Cottage is near a great breakfast place, a Safeway for supplies, and a pleasant walk to downtown Ashland for someone up for a little longer walk.
Ariel was very accommodating, and went out of her way to make my visit a pleasant one.
I would highly recommend her place without reservation.

  • Ariel's place is very comfortable. It was immaculate and well stocked. The Wifi and cable were in good working order. The location was very convenient, and there is a quaint Farmer's Market on Tuesdays just a block away. Ariel made a big effort to be accommodating. I think her place was a very good value.

  • Just wanted to say what a great host Ariel was and how very helpful with all the information about the town and surrounding great venues to explore. Her immediate attention to every detail was really outstanding! Even got us a basketball for the park across the street! It is a great place to stay within easy walking distance to the Shakespeare Festival and nearby suburb restaurants . . . and having a nice well stocked kitchen to prepare a family dinner was a real plus. My family had a truly wonderful vacation in Ashland and would gladly recommend her place to anyone. Enjoy!

  • This small house has comfortable beds and a well appointed kitchen. It is clean and a quick drive to downtown Ashland. The kennel and outdoor space, along with adjacent park, would make it perfect for those traveling with a dog. We experienced problems with both the WiFi and TV, which Ariel was working on improving. She was a responsive host, both to the initial reservation and to calls and messages.

About
Greetings my name is Ariel. I have lived in a variety of areas, mostly on the west coast and then settled in Beautiful Ashland 26 years ago. I began my career in the LA area as a Vegetarian/Vegan Cook in the early 70's at 'Our Contribution Restaurant' then opened the 'Falafel Factory' next door. Eventually I developed and ran a Vegetarian Deli in a natural food store as well as doing Catering. Wanting to tailor my work around my children's schedule I started a Home Cleaning business & often cooked for my clients. Now, I am so Very Happy to host our Ashland Visitors in CC's City Cottage. *WELCOME*
