Beautiful and bright studio located on a unique ¾ acre property near the U of A. This tiny (220 square feet) and charming cottage was originally the water-pump house (in the 1940’s). Concrete floors, brick walls, shade trees and yard art add to the charm of this quiet get away. The cottage has a full bath, and a kitchen area consisting of a fridge, microwave and hotplate and is set up to allow you plenty of privacy. The pool is right outside the door! Easy access to Tucson’s entertainment district – Main Gate Square, 4th Avenue, Downtown – and walking distance to restaurants and parks. Parking is off-street and is very secure.

This cottage is located on a property where we live with our family. We have it set up so that you can take care of yourself and enjoy your privacy and so that we can do our day-to-day living without much interruption. If you plan to have lots of visitors or if you want a host who will entertain you, this is probably not the right fit. House rules are to respect that this is our home (no smoking, no excessive noise). An energy-conservation attitude is also very much appreciated! Thank you!
Very nice little property on the outer edge of the university of Arizona. It's a bit out of the way so you'll need a car or uber to get to downtown. The upside is that it's very quiet and dark at night, so you can relax and see the stars. Also, really cheap for what it is.
Hosts werr out of town when I stayed there so I didn't get to meet them, very helpful by email however.
The listing description is completely accurate. The cottage was very clean and very quiet. Jeanette and Paul were very welcoming and made themselves available to me during my stay (though everything was very well thought out so I did not need to contact them for anything). As a woman travelling solo, this place was very safe and very welcoming. Clear instructions were provided for check in and check out. What can I say - a completely uneventful trip, for all the right reasons. I would stay at this cottage again in a flash. Thank you Jeannette and Paul for opening your property to the world.
this was a GREAT stay for me. I wanted peace and quiet and privacy and I got it all in this one place. I love rustic and simple, and this place meets all basic needs. I loved the Birds and the sound of the water from the hot tub. I was able to communicate readily with Jeannette by telephone and got immediate responses to my questions. I will definitely come back here. peace and quiet! Thank you!
Sweet little secluded cottage! This is the perfect place to get away from it all. The cottage was clean and had a lot of natural sunlight .
The art work by Jeannette is so beautiful! I would recommend this cozy place in a heart beat. Thanks to Jeannette & Paul !
I really enjoyed my stay at Jeannette & Paul's little cottage. They are great hosts that leave you to do your own thing which is exactly what I wanted. The cottage had everything I needed for a comfortable stay and it was quiet, clean, and very private. There are many amenities close by as well as bus lines within easy walking distance. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Tucson.
This place was great! Fantastic location, very easy check-in - Jeannette and Paul were fantastic hosts. Just what I was looking for - a nice small place that is centrally located to sleep while spending most of my time outside in beautiful Tucson!
The cottage was prefect for my solo trip to Tucson to attend a yoga workshop! It is adorable and in a terrific location--very nice neighborhood and close to lots of amenities. It's very private and secure at the back of a beautiful desert property. Jeannette and Paul are incredibly kind and generous. I would definitely love to stay there again.
