We were made to feel very welcomed and the surroundings and home were fantastic! Great conversations with Anton and Lindley. We couldn't have been happier!
Anton and Linley were gracious hosts. Their home is lovely filled with antiques, flowers, and a wonderful, restful view of Sag Harbor cove. The "oh so good" continental breakfast and the "get to know you" conversation added to the delightful stay.
Stop everything and book to stay with Anton and Lindley! They are just amazing, made us feel right at home, advised on what to do in town, just couldn't have been nicer. The house, the location, the view - everything was just perfect! We had the best time, and we are absolutely coming back! Thank you Anton and Lindley for making our mini-break fantastic!
This was me and my girlfriend's first experience on airbnb and I could not have been more pleased. Anton and Linley were wonderful hosts. The house was very nice and it was so nice being on the water. Stepping out on to the outside deck, there were beautiful views of the water, the many flowers planted by Linley, as well as a constant bird activity. It was also nice being able to walk 10 minutes and be in the center of Sag Harbor.
Not only was the house very nice, but but Anton and Linley were also great hosts. They really made both of us feel at home, and I really enjoyed the croissants, fruit and coffee they generously provided in the morning.
Anton is also a charter boat captain, so we also chartered the boat and had a great time out on the water and seeing the shores of North Haven and Shelter Island.
I hope to return.
Anton and Linley were very lovely hosts, and we enjoyed our weekend in an excellent location and amongst a peaceful setting. The room and home were exactly as pictures and we've already recommended a visit to our friends!
We felt completely at home here the instant we arrived. Anton and Linley are such genuine people, and so interesting too! As long time locals, they have tons of great stories to share about the area. Their home is warm and welcoming, the perfect balance of casual comfort and feeling away from it all.
The back porch looks right onto the bay- you can actually pull a kayak straight from the lawn into the harbor to go for a little paddle anytime you please. Linley has planted an abundance of colorful flowers everywhere, and daily fills the bird feeders so there are lots of feathered friends to watch.
The morning breakfast spread was also great- organic yogurts, fruits, wild honey, granola, croissants, coffee, juice- enjoying that while watching the day warm up over the water- who could ask for more?
The home is a very pleasant 5-10 minute walk to downtown Sag Harbor, with lots of lovely places to dine and shop.
We had just such a wonderful time, I highly recommend booking here- you will want to send all your friends this way after you do!
My wife and I had a great time at Anton's beautiful home. We especially enjoyed the morning breakfast and time spent with the other house guests, very pleasant stay
