Our stay at Anton and Linley's place was great! The room was very clean and had amazing views and ambiance. The location of the house was great- about 10 min walking distance to the village of Sag Harbor. My boyfriend and I had an awesome weekend relaxing on the hammock, outside deck and enjoying the pristine sunsets. Anton and Linley also offered delicious croissants for breakfast- which we very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend and go back!
Anton and Linley's home is charming, peaceful, and in an idyllic setting. This room has a beautiful view of the cove which is a joy to wake up to. Luckily for us, two of the other guests happened to be attending the same wedding and we had a wonderful time getting to know them. Anton is very engaging and made us and the other guests feel right at home. There were croissants for us in the morning and (for bird and literary enthusiasts) we were welcome to peruse his books on the area. My only regret is that we didn't have more time here— I can't recommend it enough!
We very much enjoyed our stay in Sag Harbor. Anton and Linley are very friendly people and have created a beautiful place. We had a wonderful evening just sitting on the porch, talking to other guests and watching all kinds of birds and deer. For an extra $ 15, we took out the kayaks to explore the bay. Highly recommended!
I loved staying at Anton's. He and his wife, Linley are warm and welcoming. The room is lovely--comfortable, light and art-filled with a view of the exquisite Cove. The bathroom is spacious and spotless and bathed in natural light. The house is filled with flowers and art and furniture designed and made by the host.
The location couldn't be better.
From the start, Anton and his wife truly made us feel welcome in their beautiful and peaceful home. After our arrival, we had a nice cup of tea together, enjoying Anton's knowledge about the area, boating, woodworking, birds and just about everything. The room has great water views and feels cozy. And then, there's breakfast - with croissants!
Anton and Lindly welcomed us with open arms. We enjoyed conversation over wine and cheese on the deck overlooking the water. A pair of ospreys were nesting on the property. Anton speaks four languages and it was a pleasure for me to practice my French. the room was lovely and we had a great time.
