The space
Welcome to the Cedar Mountain Chalet! Our 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom mountain home blends vintage charm with modern comforts. Recently renovated from top to bottom, the heart of the home is a brand-new chef’s kitchen with quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, and everything you need to cook hearty après-ski meals or summer barbecue feasts. Original hardwood floors, exposed beams, and a 100-year-old double-sided fieldstone fireplace create a cozy atmosphere that’s both rustic and refined.

Guests can enjoy the expansive indoor-outdoor lifestyle during the warmer months, as the home flows out onto a large deck with sweeping mountain views, equipped with patio furniture, a new gas grill, and a Solo Stove firepit! Take in gorgeous views of the surrounding Green Mountain scenery while sipping your morning coffee or happy hour cocktails. Immerse yourself in the lush New England forest that surrounds our home while exploring the private hiking trail located right on our property. Adventure seekers will love our direct access to the VAST trail system—hundreds of miles of trails for snowmobiling in winter, plus hiking and biking in summer, all accessible right from the backyard! Prefer water activities? We provide a kayak for guests to explore nearby lakes—several located less than 10 minutes away!

We're also only 15 minutes from Okemo! Plus, snowmobilers will lov our direct access to Vermont's VAST trail system with hundreds of miles of groomed trails right from our property. The best of both winter sports right at your doorstep.

🏞️ Summer Recreation: Within 10 minutes of the house, you'll discover multiple state parks like Coolidge State Park & Camp Plymouth State Park, pristine lakes & rivers great for swimming, paddling (kayak provided!) , hiking, and endless summer memories. Golfers love our place as we have FOUR 18-hole courses located within 15 minutes of the home, and dozens more within an hour's drive.

☕️ Convenience: Right across the street from the house, you’ll find Chloe’s Market — a charming Vermont country store with everything you need for a quick and delicious start to the day. They offer homemade breakfast sandwiches, coffee, local goods, plus subs, hot lunch items, snacks, and household staples. It’s the perfect stop for coffee, lunch, and gearing up for your daily adventure.

🧀🍻 Local Flavor: Locavores will love the fact that we are just minutes away from artisan cheese shops, dozens of small organic farms, farm-to-table restaurants, and eateries. The world-famous Long Trail Brewery is less than 10 minutes up the road!

Guest access
Guests have access to all areas of the home, except the basement, which will be locked during your stay.

We have a spacious deck and yard for enjoying the beautiful vistas of the surrounding green mountains. Guests are welcome to climb the hill out back and hike the short loop trail on our property. Please double-check with us if you're unsure of our property boundary lines. We appreciate you respecting the privacy of our neighbors!

Other things to note
We ask that you do not wear shoes inside our home. No pets allowed. Absolutely no parties! Thanks for respecting our home and treating it like your own :) During Winter months, please keep ALL DOORS & WINDOWS SHUT.
