Adreinne's place was extremely comfortable for my party of 4. The pull-out bed is actually much larger than I thought. Although it may not be as comfy as the bed, it was still nice. They neighbourhood looks a bit sketchy at night, but is the complete opposite during the day with a lot of people and a pleasant atmosphere. I loved that the subway was right across the street from the stay.
One small complaint was that it took a bit of time for us to figure out how to use the radiator in the apartment as it was making some noises while we slept. If you are a light sleeper, the noises from the street may bother you if you sleep on the pull out bed.
Inside the apartment, everything is in pristine condition. There were even extension cords and power bars for you to use if you were charging multiple phones/cameras. Additionally, the bathroom was really nice and clean and Adreinne had provided extra towels for all of us.
All in all, this was a great stay for the price and literally a few steps away from the subway station to take you into downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan.
The apartment was just like in the photos. Not huge but very comfortable and open, with a nice bathroom and a functional kitchen. The apartment was clean and we found everything we needed. The only negative thing were the mattresses. The main bed was ok but not great, while the sofa bed's mattress was terrible. Luckily my two young kids are light and did not complain. We did not meet Adreinne, but she was readily available over the phone or by email when needed. The area is not the nicest, but the apartment is very close to the C and S subways, and also to a nice supermarket and a laundry store. For light sleepers, the sofa bed is on the street side, it was noisy sometimes, but it wasn't an issue for us. We had a great stay all in all, the apartment is really nicely furnished and pretty.
Thanks for your feedback. We have just purchased a mattress cushion that will make the sofabed more comfortable.
We'll have to disagree with you about the neighborhood. What makes it a bad area? We are located on the border of Clinton Hill and Bedstuy, in a diverse, bustling area. All of the necessities like grocery, laundry, coffee, etc., are a block away. Gentrification has brought White people here by busloads. Did you check out the new Brooklyn indoor Flea Market just 3 blocks away? (website hidden) How about any of the new bars or restaurants in the neighborhood? There are Doris, Glorietta Baldy, Daily Press, Alice's Arbor and Brooklyn Wine Yard - all within 3 blocks of the apartment.
Our neighborhood represents the diversity of this great city. We're glad you had a great stay all in all.
The flat is exactly as described. Right in front of a subway station and very close to a good grocery store. Well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Bed a bit too soft. There was a small mix-up with the code to get the keys, but it was easily solved by phone. The area is not the liveliest, but for sleeping only it was fine.
Getting to the Apartment was easy, right by the train. cute apartment, perfect for my friend and I.
everything we neded was there. neighborhood was average, but safe. would be nice if it had a TV.
great Value for the price. would stay there again.
Adreinne's place was nicely-furnished and spacious; the bed is really comfy. It's very close to a handy subway station and there is a bunch of shops and restaurants nearby.
Highly recommended, had an amazing time and Adreinne was attentive and helpful when required.
Near subway and lot of shops like grocery laundry cofee ... Note enough towels like in the kitchen
