Our whole stay was wonderful and smooth. The host is very responsive and was quick to satisfy our needs.
The place was neat and adjusted to fit our needs. Some important highlights of this place;
- Very close to subway and bus stops
- Uber works extremely well in this area
- Lots and I mean lots of places to eat around or get groceries
- Lovely jacuzzi hot tub to make a romantic evening (can light candles provided)- All the brightness of the bulbs can be adjusted for a more romantic setting.
- free WiFi, quality eating utensils.
- entire space decorated with lovely paintings that are actually placed strategically around the space.
Check in and check-out was a breeze and I would love to stay at this space again when my girl visits NY. The host is very flexible and you will enjoy your entire stay - worth it! Especially for couples
We had a wonderful experience staying at Adreinne's lovely home. First of all the location was fantastic! Literally just across the street from the C line, which got us into Manhattan and various destinations in Brooklyn in no time! In addition, there were eateries and a cute little cafe just a stones throw away, which was a nice unexpected bonus.
As for the flat itself - it is just as lovely as it looks in the pictures. Very charming, homie, pleasant and clean with chic and character. The kitchen had everything you would need in order to be able to eat in and not have to spend money on eating out.
The beds were very comfortable, we were 4 guests and the space was just right for us.
Last but not least, although I never actually met Adreinne, I got a sense that she was hospitable and communicative, which is very important when staying i someone's home. Thumbs up and would definitely stay again!
Adreinne's communication was great from the start. Checking in was quite easy and the apartment is just as it appears in the photos. Three of us were quite comfortable and the location was great. We walked nearly everywhere we needed to go.
Everything is great! The best thing is very close from the subway station and Room interior is so good. I can recommend this place to you clealy.
Adreinne's place was extremely comfortable for my party of 4. The pull-out bed is actually much larger than I thought. Although it may not be as comfy as the bed, it was still nice. They neighbourhood looks a bit sketchy at night, but is the complete opposite during the day with a lot of people and a pleasant atmosphere. I loved that the subway was right across the street from the stay.
One small complaint was that it took a bit of time for us to figure out how to use the radiator in the apartment as it was making some noises while we slept. If you are a light sleeper, the noises from the street may bother you if you sleep on the pull out bed.
Inside the apartment, everything is in pristine condition. There were even extension cords and power bars for you to use if you were charging multiple phones/cameras. Additionally, the bathroom was really nice and clean and Adreinne had provided extra towels for all of us.
All in all, this was a great stay for the price and literally a few steps away from the subway station to take you into downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan.
The apartment was just like in the photos. Not huge but very comfortable and open, with a nice bathroom and a functional kitchen. The apartment was clean and we found everything we needed. The only negative thing were the mattresses. The main bed was ok but not great, while the sofa bed's mattress was terrible. Luckily my two young kids are light and did not complain. We did not meet Adreinne, but she was readily available over the phone or by email when needed. The area is not the nicest, but the apartment is very close to the C and S subways, and also to a nice supermarket and a laundry store. For light sleepers, the sofa bed is on the street side, it was noisy sometimes, but it wasn't an issue for us. We had a great stay all in all, the apartment is really nicely furnished and pretty.
Thanks for your feedback. We have just purchased a mattress cushion that will make the sofabed more comfortable.
We'll have to disagree with you about the neighborhood. What makes it a bad area? We are located on the border of Clinton Hill and Bedstuy, in a diverse, bustling area. All of the necessities like grocery, laundry, coffee, etc., are a block away. Gentrification has brought White people here by busloads. Did you check out the new Brooklyn indoor Flea Market just 3 blocks away? (website hidden) How about any of the new bars or restaurants in the neighborhood? There are Doris, Glorietta Baldy, Daily Press, Alice's Arbor and Brooklyn Wine Yard - all within 3 blocks of the apartment.
Our neighborhood represents the diversity of this great city. We're glad you had a great stay all in all.
