Inside, you’ll find thoughtful amenities including a private bathroom, plush robes, a king-size bed, a convenient kitchenette, and your own private fire pit for relaxing evenings outdoors.
The Dog Wood is a walk-up tent located less than 100 yards from the parking area, making access easy. A clearly marked trail guides your way, and a cart is available to help you transport luggage to your tent. Please note that six steps lead up to the tent’s private porch.
This spacious tent offers a covered porch with outdoor dinning table, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. On beautiful days, you can roll up the tent windows to let in the fresh air. During your stay, you’ll enjoy full access to 30 acres of scenic beauty, complete with two serene ponds and a tranquil creek.
Guests are also welcome to enjoy Wheat Creek Lodge, a shared space featuring games, a cozy lounge area, and a camp store stocked with snacks and everyday essentials. You’ll also find our “make-your-own” specialty coffee station, where you can whip up a latte, cappuccino, or espresso just the way you like it. Though a coffee maker and a drip coffee option is provided in your tent as well.
