The depth of the water provides a great place to jump into the lake right from the end of the dock. The lake is excellent for swimming and cooling off in the water that you are sure to enjoy. There is great fishing right off the end of the dock and almost anywhere in the lake. You will be hard pressed to go fishing and not catch fish. The lake is so clear that it is easy to spot fish and is excellent for snorkeling, this is my brothers favorite past time at the cottage. Maximum depth of the lake is approx. 50 feet.

Due to a stroke of luck, Chris was able to meet us upon our arrival. He was an absolute joy to meet. He was on time, very courteous and took time to show us around his beautiful place. The cottage is even more amazing in real life. The description and photos do not do it justice. The location is very beautiful. We were amazed at the size of the cottage - very big yet cozy and well-designed. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean the whole cottage and property were and how everything we needed for the weekend was available - from napkins to cutlery to condiments to firewood. Chris is a standup guy who tells it like it is. There were no surprises and the quality of what was delivered was beyond what was expected. 10 out of 10.
The place is great.
Chris had pretty much everything for us to use.
The place was clean, and at a great location too.
We loved the backyard, especially the fire pit.
It was weird not to have any phone/internet but the kids and we got used to it pretty quickly. I cannot remember the last time I did not have my cell phone with me for more than 2 hours. I was another bonus that your kids did not look into their idevices every 2 minutes..
Wonderful stylish place, everybody can see that this cottage is not just another rental property, managed by cleaning company xyz, BUT the Kellers own vacation spot!!
That being said it was also the most personal experience on our trip which included three different cottages. Meaning there was not some impersonal electronic solution to get into some cabin, we got the key from Chris in person, by picking it up at his place in Waterloo before we drove up to the cabin.
And off course everything was exactly as described.
The kids loved loved loved the lake, the canoes. We enjoyed lots of space
in the big house (this is not just a small cottage).
Thanks for letting us stay and we'd love to come back!
Great place! Clean, big, comfortable and feels like home! Close to town and beautiful trails!
Our stay at the Keller Kasa was great! The cottage is quite spacious, the first level and the master bedroom had heated floors which was awesome for our winter stay. We enjoyed the amount of natural light in every room and there were more than enough beds to accomodate our group of 8 people. We were able to truly get away since there is no cell reception, which is just what we wanted to be disconnected for the weekend. This cottage looks like it would be great for summer so we're hoping to come back soon.
