Glamping at its finest! This adorable, warm and cozy, artistic, and truly unique storybook cabin is nestled in a quiet, close-in farm setting (but only 30 min to DT PDX). You’ll love the magical vibe, artwork, decor, lighting, coffee bar, comfy bed, cute outhouse w/cold water sink, and a private outdoor heated shower! We welcome ALL colors, LGBTQ, and outdoor tobacco friendly. Cannabis flower allowed indoors in separate, fun and funky TV/game shed. You'll LOVE it here!

The space
Our vintage cottage is tastefully decorated, and has everything inside you'd expect for a bedroom. There is a cute sink set up next to the most adorable portapotty that sits next to the cottage. There is also a very large, private, heated, cedar outdoor shower on the other side. There's a mirror, hooks, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and a bench inside. Please note: if temperatures are below freezing, we shut down the sink and shower. Otherwise, they will burst. Therefore, we offer our guests to come inside our main house and use our shower and sink inside. This rarely happens, as it is rarely below freezing temperatures in our area. Soft towels, shower shoes, and cozy robes are also provided. Across the way is a artistic covered patio that has a huge 12' table, chairs, as well as a fridge, toaster, microwave, water dispenser, and Keurig coffee maker with all the supplies you'll need. Beer n cider is also available for purchase. Privacy blinds are in each window, and cute sitting areas outdoors are at your disposal as well. We even have a cool hang out building that's totally enclosed to relax in. The fire pit is awesome and artsy, and Dale always offers (weather permitting) to start you a little fire and offer up s'more makin's'. It's truly very unique. You'll honestly love it! It's very romantic and Soooo much better than camping!!

Guest access
You'll have access to cottage, portapotty next to cottage, private shower, two covered outdoor patios with cozy furniture, 12 foot table and chairs, 'chicken coop' building with comfy furniture, and fire pit lounging area. No renters are allowed inside the main house, pump house, 'cow' barn, wood shed, large dahlia barn, or with cows without assistance from owners.

Other things to note
In the shower, first turn the propane tank knob to 'on', then turn the white switch on at the bottom of the propane wall heater unit, then pull down the blue handle next to the white switch. That will ignite the wall unit to warm the water. When done, reverse these 3 steps to shut things off.

Also, GPS will not get you directly to the cottage, so please take note on the directions on how to get there. You can park right next to it. The cottage will be unlocked, and a heater is inside that warms it up quickly. When you leave each day though, please also turn off the heater. It doesn't take long at all to heat the room back up. Just trying to conserve energy.

Neighborhood highlights

We live in the country, though it's VERY close to businesses and Portland. Everyone here has at least 20 acres, so it's very private and serene. However, we do have one additional cottage on the property (200 feet away) that shares the same fire pit, rec shed, and bar area. They have their own shower, porta potty, and sink though.

If need be, we will arrange you a private timeframe for each of those three areas if you want complete privacy with no chance of another couple sharing a fire, game room, or bar. Many past guests have made friendships with others here though, so keep an open mind....you never know? ;-)

Also, please note that since Covid, we have opened up two of our pastures as private dog parks. Dog families rent one hour time slots, one at a time, to run their pooches, but it shouldn't interfere with your space.
