The Space

Furnished with family antiques, refinished vintage pieces, and art from Santa Fe and the Southwest, our home is most often described by guests as beautifully appointed, yet very comfortable. There are relaxing seating areas in three common rooms and two outdoor spaces. Often guests feel so much at home that they extend their stays. We live in the home ourselves at least two months a year, so we have stocked the kitchen, desks, drawers, and cabinets with everything one could need for either a vacation or elegant everyday living.

  • My wife and I travel to Santa Fe frequently and have stayed many places, luxuriant to modest. This was by far our favorite spot to-date. The accommodations were lovely, homey and roomy. Jeff, who handled the intro to the abode and the key hand off, was a great guy--helpful and available.

The great location--a short walk to the plaza and to Whole Foods--and comfort will guarantee our return. You can't go wrong here.

  • This was a beautiful place to stay. Thank you Stacy! It had all the comforts of home and the location is awesome.

  • Casaanita was a lovely way to spend our time in Santa Fe. It was located very close to the historic plaza, shopping and great restaurants. Stacey has done a fabulous job of making her place comfortable and inviting. The decor was artistic and creative. We would recommend the casita to anyone visiting Santa Fe.

  • Really clean, convenient, cozy stay in this duplex unit. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cookware. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

  • This is a charming duplex on a quiet street about a 15-minute walk from the main plaza. The décor is warm, welcoming, and done with very good taste. The bright kitchen was extremely well-equipped, and the living room was very comfortable, although a bit dark. There is only one bathroom, and we were two couples, but we knew this going in and it was not a problem. The house includes a library of good books and movies. Upon our arrival, the lights in one bedroom were not working, but a phone call to owner Stacey resolved the problem in a few minutes. We would definitely stay there again - good value for pricey Santa Fe.

  • A beautiful place-the street, the Adobe, the front porch and the decorative touches to the casa. Walk to the plaza in 10-15 mins. Satellite tv, wi-fi, real Santa Fe feel and great neighbourhood. Shower lovely, kitchen excellent. Beds are on the hard side but other than that it is the perfect stay for a couple, 2 couples or small family. Well laid out house. Thank you for accepting our last minute booking.

  • We loved our stay at Casa Anita. It was truly a "home away from home." The home is very well kept and updated. The gourmet kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and had great air conditioning. The front patio was a go-to for morning coffee and watching all of the runners with their pets. The back patio was a great source of privacy for quiet and alone times. The house was also convenient to restaurants, grocery shopping, and the Plaza. We found everything we needed, but had we not, the caretaker neighbor was willing to help us out with whatever we needed. We (5 of us) enjoyed our time throughly! We have a new place to stay while in Santa Fe.

About
We are both Humanities teachers and musicians with grown children. We chose Santa Fe for our second home because of the culture and lifestyle the city offers: the incredible art, music, architecture, and history; the amazing food; the stunning mountains and forests; and the fascinating variety of people who have interesting outlooks on life. You will never be bored on a visit to Santa Fe! Our tastes in culture are eclectic: We love opera, chamber music, and jazz, but we are also addicted to Breaking Bad, Homeland, and Deadwood. You'll find a little of everything in our library. When we are in Santa Fe, a trip to Ten Thousand Waves is a must, as are sunset drives over the hill to Tesuque and Nambe. We have been lucky enough to travel throughout Europe and Asia, where most often we have stayed in one place for some time and rented apartments or small houses. We know what it is like to rent someone's home for a vacation, so we have outfitted our home to help you feel totally at home as well.
