The house is in an incredible location - 5 minutes by car to downtown Yountville and located right in the middle of wine country. Waking up each morning and having a coffee on the porch overlooking miles of vineyards was amazing. The house was very comfortable, well equipped, very private and HUGE! Could not have asked for a better rental. Deborah was great answering questions and gave us some pointers on where to eat in the area. I would definitely recommend this place to any small group of friends or family who wants your own Napa retreat.
We had an amazing family vacation at Deborah's place. The location is so amazing, and we were lucky with the weather and spent most of the afternoon on the patio enjoying wine and the view of the vineyards. Deborah was a great host and very accommodating, we would definitely stay here again if the chance arrises.
Living overseas and returning for a family wedding, we needed a place to unwind, recover from jet lag, and reconnect. We had the most wonderful week-long stay! Deborah's home was the perfect location for our friends and family to stop by, sip a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the vineyard, watch sunsets together. Roomy, comfortable, modern, with all the amenities we needed (and more). We would definitely return!
The location of this house was great and suited our travel needs perfectly. We were traveling up to the wine country to specifically visit some restaurants in Yountville, and the location of the house gave us perfect and convenient access not only to the restaurants but wineries as well. Deborah was super easy to communicate with and to get in touch with via email. There is no air conditioning in the house, but given the time of year of our travel (October) we found that we did not need it, nor did we need the heaters. 3 of us stayed there and we all had plenty of room and privacy for when we each wanted some time alone. Beautiful views of the vineyards as well. The way the property is situated you feel like you have a ton of privacy but also have the comfort of knowing there are other houses right next door. It took a minute for all of us to get used to the creaking of the house as it settled down at night, but overall I think the stay is well worth the reasonable price.
House worked out great for a family of five. The owners were very helpful and happy to provide help and accommodate guests' needs. Great location for Napa Valley.
Deoborah's home provided a nice stay central to wine country. We started each morning on the large patio having a coffee and looking over an amazing view of vineyards. We ended each evening with a relaxing glass of wine on the same patio. The house is spacious with a huge master but the other two bedrooms are quite small and share one bath. No central air and a lack of fans, made it a little uncomfortable. A few well placed fans would fix.
If you are laid back and easy going then the quirks of this rental will be minor. It feels like you are staying at a friends house.
If you're just looking for a place to lay your head while in Napa then choose a hotel in the downtown area. Though, if you're looking for an estate-like experience, then this is a sure-fire winner. Spent 4 days here with my family and the pictures and description are perfection. Clean, great location, fairly priced and great inn keepers are a few of the many words I can use to describe my experience.
Happy with the extra's provided like a provided pantry and bathing amenities. Also it's very close to great wineries like Cliff Lede and Sinskey. Happy to provide a reference for this great property and the people behind the accommodations.
