A beautiful apartment which was far far better than we had anticipated. The place was spotless (thanks Sandra), extremely comfortable and superbly appointed. We were all absolutely amazed at the brilliant location - truly NY at its finest. Loved the two restaurants at the end of the road plus Cedrics (St Nicholas and west 120th) was a real find. A huge thank you to Julie for making available such a wonderful place for our first visit to the Big Apple. Very very highly recommended
Lovely apartment on a quaint street in Harlem. Spacious, clean, well appointed--a very European feel to the place. The subway is 4 blocks away; Barawine Restaurant is on the corner and not to be missed.
Julie was easy to work with, very responsive, and her niece, Margo, helped get us settled in the apartment.
We had a wonderful visit to NY, despite the rain; wish we could have spent some time in the beautiful garden out back--next trip!
Very beautiful apartment. We felt right at home. Julie and her niece are welcoming and very accommodating. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and clean. The subway stop is just a few blocks away and connected us quickly to the different neighborhoods we wanted to explore in Manhattan. She has a detailed "house book" with recommendations, and it explains perfectly what the apartment has to offer. I especially appreciated the individualized zone heating/cooling. In the communication before we checked in, they were helpful and willing to work with us. Our experience was great. We would love to rent this apartment again.
Awesome space. The pictures are great - but you'll still think you landed a great spot when you get there. The exterior is just as cool. It is the quintessential brownstone walkup you see in all the movies set in NYC - very cool vibe.
Also, easy to get anywhere in the city either by subway or taxi. We had to get to the UN and it took 10mins with no traffic and just under 20 with lots of traffic. Easy Peasy.
Very clean and well laid out. And the back yard is great too!
Highly recommend Julie's place and we'll definitely try to stay there again.
