Ines was a great hostess! She made us feel welcome and gave us some good tips on coffee shops in the area. The neighborhood is FANTASTIC and really well located. Ines also let us store our luggage there during the final day so that we didn't have to worry about it. She was flexible and communicative. The place was as quaint and cutely decorated as the pictures show, and her cat Fifi was very friendly. So friendly in fact that she slept in between us :) We are really glad we stayed here. Thanks Ines!
Ines was such a lovely host and made our time in Montreal a truly special experience! She was warm, relaxed, and always prompt with her responses. When we first arrived, she took her time to explain how things worked in the house and even gave us a list of restaurants and pubs to explore in the area. The house is in the most charming and convenient area - perfect for exploring the city on foot. Having a friendly cat in the house was definitely a plus for us as cat lovers - it made the house feel like home. I'd love to come back here when I visit Montreal again. Thank you Ines!
We had such a lovely time staying at Ines' home over Christmas. It was very cozy and relaxing. Ines was a gracious host and was there to meet us when we arrived. She took time explaining how things worked (faucets, laundry, etc.) and showed us where everything was in her home that we might have needed. The kitchen had most amenities and we made some delicious meals. The neighborhood was fantastic as well. Lots to do and lots of great places to eat/drink, we even found a bar and a coffee shop where we could bring our dog. All in all we had a fantastic vacation and would love to go back!
Ines is an awesome host. She is lovely, kind, and attentive. Her sister lives on the ground floor and they take good care of the building. We recently stayed there for 6 weeks. The place has a treehouse feel and gets tons of light. Decorated in a hip rustic manner, we always felt at home. Great kitchen. Great neighborhood. Great experience. Parking was never really an issue. Just pay attention to the signs. Yet I come from NYC so my standards are slightly different then those who have had a driveway all their lives.
Mont-Royal is a 5 minute walk.
Parc La Fontaine 5 minutes the other way.
And ChezJose is all you need!
Ines's place is super cute and in a great neighborhood. Ines was out of town, but her sister, who lives just downstairs, gave us the keys and showed us around. We also got to have the cat Fifi as company- very cute.
One thing- the next door neighbors had a bit of a party both nights we were there and the walls are very thin. Bring earplugs!
Ines is lovely, so helpful and accommodating. We loved her apartment and its very much like the pictures she has posted. The neighbourhood had everything we had hoped for and didn't have to go far for an amazing dinner and night on the town.
