The nearest station is Karasuma Oike Station. at Subway Karasuma
Only 6 minutes by train from Kyoto station and 5 minutes walk from there to the house. A convenience store is a 2-minute walk away, and a stylish supermarket stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables is just a 6-minute walk away. Guests can also explore nearby areas such as Osaka, Nara and Kobe during their stay.

The “Sanjo-dori” area is a very historical and beautiful area. It is a quiet and relaxed neighborhood yet there are many good local restaurants and traditional souvenir shops within walking distance.

Nearby the apartment, there are also many high-end chocolate stores including Bel Amer and Maria Belle. Thus, this street is also known as “Chocolate Street”. There are also famous department stores such as Daimaru (大丸) and Takashimaya (高島屋) nearby. Kyoto Yaoichi Honkan sells many fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as meats, sweets, and alcoholic drinks. There are also fancy restaurants within the building!

There are also calligraphy workshops available which are taught by a professional calligrapher. You can take your calligraphy work back home as a unique and memorable souvenir!

From our house, you can walk to the nearest station Karasumaoike Sta. (5min). From there, you can take the train to Kyoto sta. (6 min), then to Gion in 18 min, to Ponto-cho in 13 min, and to Arashiyama in 46 min.

I am a nature-lover and I love interacting with people more than anything. I work at a daycare center now. I think children are the best treasure in the world. Moreover, I feel so happy when I take care of children. I love exercising, especially yoga and hiking. I love eating as well, so I can teach you how to cook Japanese food and introduce you great local restaurants. I have three sweet grown-up children who will support me in doing Airbnb.
