Recently renovated light-filled 2-bedroom modern apartment in Lisbon's Old Town.
The ALFAMA RIVER III APARTMENT is a 2nd floor apartment in Alfama, Lisbon's old-town district. The building is located literally just 2 minutes walk from the Santa Apolonia Metro & Train Station for convenient transport facilities.
This apartment has 2 double bedrooms plus a sofa-bed in the living room, meaning that it can sleep up to 6 guests. The large French windows offer views to the streets of Alfama and towards the river, and allow the famous Lisbon light to come flooding in.
The bright tones and modern furniture combine with the traditional wooden beams of the original building infrastructure to create a rustic environment with completely modern facilities.
Our price for this apartment is all-inclusive and covers: initial cleaning, sheets & towels, water & electricity, and free broadband Internet via wi-fi.
The apartment is fully-equipped with washing machine, dish-washer, oven, ceramic hob & microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, etc. The apartments are also equipped with heating & air-conditioning.
It is often possible to park right outside the apartment or on the nearby streets, but this depends on if other vehicles are already parked there. If there is no space, there is a public carpark just 3-5 minutes walk away and which costs just 5€ per day!

We stayed in Roger's apartment in the Alfalma district (old town) of Lisbon and were more than happy. The apartment was spacious, clean and renovated to modern standards yet it maintained the nice character of the old town. Roger was an excellent and friendly host who responded very quickly to any questions we had and he also provided us with a great little list of places to see and local amenities which helped a lot. The apartment has Wi-Fi and also air conditioning in the living room which is a blessing when you're not used to 35 degrees and great views into the bay. It is on the 2nd floor and the steps are quite steep, which took a bit getting used to but just adds to the character. The location is great and you can even walk (or spend 5 Euros on a taxi) to get into the central part of Lisbon. Although you could fit six people in the apartment I think four or less is a perfect number. I would happily rent the apartment again and can recommend staying here.
