Spoleto, between the Cathedral and the Medieval Fortress.
It is easily reached by car, bus, or by foot. The train station is about a 20 minute walk down the hill. The
apartment is located just a short walk from all of the sights, and it's close to markets, monuments,
restaurants and cafes.
The studio is well appointed. It resembles a small tower and features windows on all sides and an
abundance of natural light with views of old tiled rooftops. The queen sized bed faces a flat screen TV mounted on the wall and there is a kitchenette with a small dining area. The studio has a beautiful
bathroom with a washing machine, window and glass shower.
The apartment has been fully restored with a new bathroom and kitchen. The original handmade cotto
tiles and lovely wooden beams on the ceiling have been preserved.
Guests have access to a space on the same floor with a little balcony where they can sit and have a glass of wine or read a book. Nearby are guides, news about events and guided tours, a small library in English and the Guest Book.

SPOLETO FEATURES SOME OF THE LOVELIEST CITIES OF ART IN UMBRIA. LOCATED BETWEEN ROME AND FLORENCE, IT IS THE IDEAL BASE TO VISIT CENTRAL ITALY. "THE AMENITIES OF AN URBAN CENTRE (restaurants, theatres, shops, museums....) COMBINED WITH THE PROXIMITY TO COUNTRYSIDE AND MOUNTAINS". It is the destination for GASTRONOMIC AND CULTURAL TOURISM.
Spoleto is undoubtedly the perfect place to immerse yourself in Italian history, culture and food. The city occupies a striking hillside position and enjoys an international reputation thanks to the prestigious Festival of Two Worlds (Festival dei Due Mondi), one of the most renowned art festivals in Europe. Other cities with artistic treasures like Assisi, Orvieto, Perugia, Todi, Spello, Norcia, and places of interest likeTrasimeno Lake and Marmore Falls, are a just few kms away. Rome is 1 hour and 15 minutes away and Florence is 2 hours and 30 minutes away by train.
Umbria offers fascinating sceneries and you need only travel a few kilometres to reach cities rich in art and culture and places of unspoilt wilderness. Take time to get off the beaten tracks discovering hill-top medieval villages, silent hermitages and mountains popolated by ancient legends.

The apartment is nicer than pictured, in a great location and the bed was comfortable. The apartment was clean and well equipped, and very quiet despite being in the heart of the town. Her friend met us when we arrived and provided a lot of information about Spoleto and the surrounding area, including a map with recommendations. There was additional useful information in the apartment.(Later she dropped off laundry detergent later so we wouldn't need to buy any.) We had a minor problem with the hot water that Luana resolved quickly. A great place to stay in Spoleto, which is a great place to visit.

Ciao cara e a presto, spero
Grazie Luana, bellissimo soggiorno!
Our host gave us a very friendly welcome showed us the studio and gave us a lot of very useful information about Spoleto and its surroundings.
The studio is perfect for a three day stay like ours. Situated in the heart of the old town of Spoleto (and very quiet) we had all the sights right in front of our doorstep. The studio is comfortable for two persons - a good bathroom, cooking facilities and good written information on sights etc.
We would gladly go back.
We met Luana in a location which was easy to find and right next to the apartment, itself very well located. She greeted us with a smile and was lovely, kind and informative. She left a lot of information for us in the apartment which proved very helpful for ur stay. Her restaurant recommendations, particularly, didn't disappoint!
I'd recommend this host and flat very highly. We had a lovely time and will surely come back!
We loved Spoleto. Luana was the perfect host, welcoming us to the town, providing loads of information, booking a restaurant, helping organise our hire car and checking on us over our stay.
The apartment was in the perfect location and had everything we needed for 3 days

About the Host, Luana
Hi, my name is Luana Zangarelli and I'm a property manager,
my Agency called ITALY TO RENT offers lovely apartments in the best Umbrian historic centres, villas and country houses in exclusive Italian locations.
All the properties have a high quality level, perfect locations, elegant interiors, in some cases have outdoor spaces and swimming pool.
I've started in 2009 managing "Spoletium Holiday Apartments", beautiful self-catering apartments to rent in the historic centre of Spoleto and in the surroundings, and I've recently expanded my porfolio including villas and country houses in other Italian locations.
With my Agency I can reserve for guests many activities and tours: guided tours, tasting tours, nature walkings, tickets for events, transfer with taxi, bike rental, horse riding, cooking lessons and much more.
I really love my job because I love art, history, nature and the relationship with other people that this job offers.
About me... I've studied Languages at School and then Art restauration, in the past years I was restorer of ancient books and parchments (I used to work for the Vatican Library in Rome), my hobbies are hiking and free climbing, walking in the forests and mountains.
I try to do my best to take care of every aspect, to offer my guests an unforgettable experience during their stay.
An important element for me is the relationship with guests. The best aspect of my job is to meet people coming from all over the world, exchanging ideas and experiences.
