Description

The Space

* PLEASE SEND ME A QUICK MESSAGE BEFORE BOOKING. * Conveniently located near LACMA, Beverly Hills, The Grove, Miracle Mile, Museum Row, and in the center of so many great places, this is a super convenient, safe, artsy area during the day, a quiet place to rest at night on a beautiful & unique, historical, residential, tree-lined street, close to everything.

FREE PARKING - There is a convenient, (always available) permit parking space next to the house if you have a car. It's also quite easy to walk to many cafe's, shopping, restaurants, gym, park, running track, tennis courts, soccer field, museums, The Grove, Beverly Center, Robertson, 3rd Street, or have lunch on the rooftop of The Wilshire Hotel which is just across the street. (All of these places are a 5 - 20 min walk)

Some of our previous guests that have enjoyed their stay at Casa Jaqueline have been artists from LACMA, a film director, writer, yoga instructor, actress, singer-songwriter, stylist, photographer, jewelry designer & a celebrity chef. ( Yes, I love LA !)

Beverly Hills begins 1 block west
Rodeo Drive is 2 miles west,
Sunset Blvd is 3 miles north,
Santa Monica Beach is about a 15 min drive. Located in the center circle of all these great places, we get the name "Carthay Circle"!

This Spanish Style property was built in 1926 for a silent film actress & is a wonderful, historical, 7800sq' property with many original, unique details to discover. There's also a giant front yard with a tree swing.

The 4 different outdoor patio areas are styled in comfortable, fun & slightly Bohemian themes for dining, or just relaxing after a long day. The guest apartment itself has a newer, but classic style, with fresh & clean white linens. (Two of the patio areas are shared space, one is private for your use)

High quality, brand new, very comfortable Queen Sealy mattress "Dream Bed", lots of natural light & windows. flat screen tv, i-phone stereo alarm clock, super clean, all white bedding & linens. EVERYTHING is laundered & cleaned after each guest. Small fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, BBQ. & there's a fantastic Breakfast/Lunch Café on the corner

PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE BEFORE BOOKING with any questions you may have, and to make sure your required dates are available. I usually book the longer stays first, and then fill in the shorter stays based on the remaining open dates in the calendar, up to 30 days in advance.

There is no smoking permitted anywhere on the property.

Guest Access

A Separate Entrance opens to this spacious master guest suite in the rear garden with private bath / shower, large walk in closet, hardwood floors, french doors & garden patio with fireplace & romantic café lights.

Interaction with Guests

I usually greet guests in person to give you keys & show you where everything is, then you have your complete privacy until departure. I'm available all times for anything you may need, but also very respectful of your private space.

The Neighborhood

After staying in all the different neighborhoods in L.A., this one became my absolute favorite. I've now called this Cozy Hacienda "home" for 15 years. Still loving it!

Friendly Artist. Traveler. World Music Enthusiast. Tea Drinker. I enjoy having fun outside the home & using my space as a peaceful sanctuary to return to. I'm an easy going, quiet, chilled out person, but also very tidy, reliable and responsible. At home, I'm usually painting, drawing, reading, editing photos, or planning a future trip somewhere new & interesting. I love nature & the countryside, exploring new cultures and customs, meeting new people, making new friends, learning new things. My favorite trips are usually to exotic or tropical places, pretty much anywhere I'm able to swim in a warm ocean or relax under a shady tree. I enjoy all the major cities too, but it's always a must for me to include a few nights in the relaxing countryside. One to appreciate the other! Meeting fun, kind & interesting other travelers is definitely an Airbnb bonus & I really enjoy being a host.
