Ours is an historical neighborhood dating back to the arrival of Japanese expatriate Catholics in the early 17th-century. In the years prior to WW2, Paco was the part of Manila where artists and some wealthier families lived on large properties, lumber yards proliferated, and some manufacturing was done. The face of Paco has changed mightily over the years, butt vestiges of the old Paco can be found by the intrepid explore
We are located near a major intersection where Jeepneys and taxis can be had.

I normally have one rule when booking a place on Airbnb—No IKEA furniture. with this respect, Greg's place wins this hands down! Almost everything is antique and cool. During my two night stay. I only saw Greg briefly. But he was very helpful. I would've loved to take his tour of old Manila. the room was bigger than I expected. thanks to the garden the room was quiet and cool. I didn't even need to use the airconditioner. The other guests were cool. I even hung out with one of them. I'd totally come back to this place. the new high rise condos are overrated.
Beautiful house in a quiet neighbourhood.
Didn't get to meet Greg in person but correspondence with him was helpful and prompt.
Only problem we had was taxi drivers not knowing the address, even with the excellent directions Greg gave us.
Thanks for a lovely stay!
Greg and Jorge were fine hosts in their home located in a quieter part of the city. The bedroom is very spacious and sleeping at night is very cool and comfortable without even an air conditioner. Greg gave me several tips which made my visit better. The location is marked on Google maps which should make it easier for you and the cab driver to find.
It was very nice to stay in Greg 's house for two days in Manila . The master room is as nice as it on the pics , Greg has a lot of vintage collections and the yard is peaceful with his 4 dogs and cats ~ got great helps from Greg and his assistant. It was unforgettable experiences for my mom and me ~ hope can see Greg next time ^_^~
Greg's place was everything my girl friend and I imagined and more. The pictures are 100% accurate. The size of the Master bedroom is so spacious, we felt like we had our own little sanctuary from Manila, and also within the house. In a noisy, congested, hot city like Manila, Coco's Garden was an Oasis for us to come home to. The kitchen was a very comfortable place to cook, and whether it was the guests, Greg, or people doing work at the house, it was a flow that had ease and comfort, and more often than not was very welcome if not simply comfortable. Greg was an extremely gracious host, and cares deeply about the upkeep and presentation of the home. Of all the sites of Manila, our stay at Coco's was at the top of the list. I will be back to Manila, and when I do return, the first thing I will book, after the plane ticket, is the Master Bedroom at Coco's. P.S. We never looked at the room below the Master, but the Master was so perfect, we weren't even interested in checking it out. It must be quite good, because at this time, Greg had a frequent guest who booked it often.
Greg has got a tremendous house, the master room is actually bigger than in the pictures. Every detail is carefully chosen and staying here is a unique experience. There is nothing we did not like about it. Though it's true the neighborhood does not have sights of interest, you'd still need to move around by taxi if you were staying in a different one cause MANILA is so big and sights are so scattered that staying at greg's actually makes it central.

I am an American from San Diego who has resided in Manila for 26 years. I am a part-time guide in the historical district of Intramuros. My partner, Jorge, and I have 5 dogs and 4 cats. Our home is an early-independence period wood home, built in the gracious style of that period. With few home in Manila from this period remaining, you are going to experience the old-world style of 70 years ago.
