Lillian was very accomodating when we ended up with a much later than expected arrival. The friendly welcome we received was fantastic. We were brought to our room, which was clean. In the morning we had a lovely home cooked breakfast. Dominick gave us great suggestions for spots to see. Our only negative was that prior to booking I indicated I wanted, and was told we could could have, a king bed but our room's beds were a full and twin.
Lillian and her husband Donny were the BEST host! Warm, welcoming, and hilarious! I had got sick durning my travels and Lillian went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. This was my second time staying at the 'old school house' and the pancakes were as good as I remembered (lonely planet writes about her breakfast)! I highly recommend staying here, not only is it the perfect Irish experience, but it's in the middle of the ring of Kerry. Great host, great location, great experience: what more could you ask for?!
Lillian and Dominic were very welcoming, and happy to help us in any way. Their house is a lovely old schoolhouse, in a quiet location, close to walks to the beach, as well as to the town. Breakfast was great - including a full Irish breakfast - if you could eat it all! Thank you to both of you for a lovely stay.
I chose this place based on the comments about the hosts and they were right. Lillian and Dominique were awesome, they were so welcoming, warm and friendly. They were fabulous with kids, played tricks, sang songs and just completely became part of our experience. Advised us on a great day trip out that was awesome. We will definitely stay with them we return. Fabulous characters, warm and friendly home with a great history. Can't recommend them enough
This is the Ireland that you imagine. Whether Dom is telling you a story, or Lillian is making you breakfast, you feel welcome and at home. Their property is lovely, and placed in front of a beautiful landscape. I highly recommend this place because we hope to back one day too.
Dominick and Lillian were extremely welcoming. Their bed and breakfast is lovely and very homely. Dominick was gave us good local knowledge with instructions on where to eat and a good pub with live music. The scenery is beautiful in this area and the BnB is well situated to make the most of it.
Dominick kept us entertained with magic tricks in the morning and gave us tips on where to go for that day's drive. We highly recommend their B+B.
