We loved Mary's house! We were in Athens for our daughter's graduation with several family members. We were all so comfortable and Mary made sure that we were made to feel welcome from the minute we hit the front door. We will be back. Thanks Mary!

Mary and her husband were great hosts. They greeted us as we arrived and were extremely helpful with suggestions of places to go and things to do in the Athens area. Their house is awesome with a lot of very interesting eclectic art from their travels around the world. THe house worked perfectly for us.

Mark and Mary's historic home in Athens is an absolute dream. The house is absolutely stunning, spacious, quaint and with a gorgeous back porch (in addition to the front porch) and backyard to boot. The bedrooms were all in incredible shape, with great linens, towels, etc. The kitchen, dining room and tv room are also incredibly spacious and beautiful. Absolutely loved the location, walking distance to Downtown Athens and close for the UGA game as well. Mark's hospitality was truly next level. He was leaving upon our arrival but stuck around to introduce himself and offer us beverages in the refrigerator. He made himself available if we needed anything and went above and beyond in shipping back some clothes left behind. I truly cannot speak highly enough abut our experience in this house... there's no better place to experience Athens.

My family and I stayed at Sylvanus Morris House during the last weekend of UGA football. It was a wonderful treat for all parties involved and nicer in person than the pictures show Online. Use of the home is made simplistic due to the owner's witty and purposeful instruction. Everything from lights to coffee are well marked, with personal touches as good as anything I've seen. If you get the chance to stay at Sylvanus Morris you'll never forget it.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience for our first UGA game. We really appreciate Mary and Mark having us and would not think twice about returning to their home again. The house is comfortable, plenty of beds/baths, TV to watch the games throughout the day, I could go on and on. Thanks so much for having us, hopefully we'll be back in the future.

Our group of eight had a wonderful stay at this historic home in Athens. Mary and Mark were gracious hosts and stocked the refrigerator with goodies upon our arrival. They even let us arrive earlier than the published time which was helpful as we had a 5pm engagement. The location was perfect for all of our weekend activities and if we chose to, walking to town was a breeze. As we were there for UGA's Parent's Weekend, we enjoyed time on the lovely screened in porch catching up with our daughters and enjoying coffe in the morning. The men congregated in the comfortable living room to catch up on all of the other SEC games! All in all we had a lovely stay and hope you be back for Parent's Weekend in the Spring!

Mary is an amazing host. Her home is a classic southern style home with a large porch in the front and an enclosed deck in the back. The house is beautifully decorated and there's plenty of space in the bedrooms and living areas. My family had a great time staying there.
