The space
Orchid 1 (downstairs, closest to pool)

A short walk along a tropical river path leads to Flora. Orchid 1 is a garden-level studio just steps from the pool, with an easy, open connection to the shared spaces.

Set in a walking village with no car traffic, the sounds here are geckos, birds, frogs, and the occasional rooster—yet Ubud is just a 15-minute walk away.

Each studio is composed individually using reclaimed doors, columns, and panels, with paintings by Indonesian artists. Traditional elements are reimagined with a modern sensibility, with an emphasis on comfort and simple, ecological living.

Guest access
Our reimagined Javanese pavilion and pool are shared and gently held for all guests.

You’re welcome to heat water for coffee or tea, or prepare a simple meal.
In the quieter hours, our staff gathers here as well—sharing lunch as part of the daily rhythm of the house.

After dark, the space softens—moonlit swims are welcome, quietly.

The village is easily explored on foot. Ubud center is about a 20-minute walk, or a short ride by Grab. Scooters can be arranged at $6/day, and a car with driver is available for longer journeys (approximately $50 USD/day).
