Other things to note
Beautiful handmade features of our 1923 home was built by a local family named Barnes who owned a saw mill and used local timber from Williamstown area to design and build this quaint home. Antique ceramic fireplace is stunning and a built-in wooden hutch with original glass adds to the ominous of Storybook Victorian home. Will remind you of Grandma’s home. Always filled with laughter and love.
**Small town USA, there is a train track runs through entire town. A town population of 2500 and everyone hears it depending on how the wind blows. Gotta love it!
**One stoplight 800 feet away at intersection of Main St and Paris. Your host cannot regulate acceleration sounds from pickup trucks (no semis) when young folks decide to show off. Lol

Welcome to Williamstown KY. Main Street USA and walking distance to the downtown area.

This Airbnb is located across from the United Methodist Church with a Preschool/Day Care operated by the Church.

One traffic light in the entire downtown area. Your host cannot change traffic patterns or driving habits of the residents who live here nor the time of day when they decide to drive their pickup trucks. LOL

Our town, streets and railroad was designed in the 1800’s for progress and cannot be changed. Train whistles do blow at the end of town and depending on the direction of the wind & season, you will hear it. Trains in the 1800’s made Kentucky’s small towns, which we now enjoy. It’s called Main Street USA

Local police department patrol Williamstown on a regular basis and crime is minimal.

The house next door to our Victorian is being renovated. Please overlook its messy appearance and condition. It’s okay to laugh at this house. It is crazy what the owners are doing to render this home to the original charm it once was. We cannot do anything about the messy project nor can the City. Despite the eyesore, Williamstown is a very safe area of beautiful homes and Christian families. There are 18+ Airbnb’s within 2 blocks of our home. Several families walking around. “You’ll LUV it here!”
